Lea Michele Says She Is ‘Very, Very, Very Lucky’ To Have Found Love With Boyfriend Robert Buckley

Lea Michele can’t hold back about her new romance.

The actress was recently asked about her new boyfriend, Robert Buckley. Although she tried her best to keep her feelings in check, her response was a close confirmation that the two are dating.

“You know I’m just feeling really great right now and super happy,” Michele explained to Entertainment Tonight. “I feel very, very, very lucky and grateful in my life right now, and that’s all that matters.”

According to People, Michele opened up during the Fox Upfronts. While Michele refused to admit that the relationship questions were making her embarrassed, her comments all but confirm her new relationship with Buckley. “I don’t know,” she said when asked about whether or not she was blushing. “It’s just really good bronzer.”

TMZ is reporting that Michele was at the event to promote the second season of Scream Queens. For his part, Buckley is known for his work on iZombie and One Tree Hill.

Michele was previously dating Matthew Paetz for almost two years before they decided to call it quits back in February. Considering how many fans were waiting on an engagement, the former Glee star’s breakup with Paetz came as a huge surprise.

Prior to her relationship with Paetz, Lea was in a long-term relationship with her Glee costar Corey Monteith before he tragically died of an accidental overdose.

It’s only been a few months since Michele’s split with Paetz. While rumors of her relationship with Buckley continue to mount, neither star has confirmed their budding romance.

Meanwhile, Michele went on to dish a little bit about her role in the upcoming second season of Scream Queens. Although she did not discuss any major spoilers, she offered a few hints at what fans can expect from the horror comedy this year.

“How do I phrase this? My character is uniquely placed within the hospital setting, so I guess that’s the best way to put it?” she shared. “I’m very excited about my storyline this season. It mirrors one of my favorite horror films. So, that will be interesting if you can figure it out…”

Along with her upcoming part in Scream Queens and her new boyfriend, Glamour is reporting that Michele is also sporting a new look for the summer.

Lea Michele recently went to her hairstylist, Nikki Lee, and received some new sandy highlights that match perfectly with her iconic dark hair.

“Thank you so much @nikkilee901 and all my girls at @ninezeroone salon for my gorgeous new sandy summer locks!” Michele wrote alongside a picture of her new style on Instagram.

Lee added that Michele’s new highlights were an easy decision to make because they go perfectly with her skin color and overall style. Also, the highlights are a great blend for the summer.

“This is the perfect color for summer for Lea! It goes great with her skin tone, and it’s fun because it’s a bit of a change for her,” Lee explained. “It’s important to keep a slightly rooted look on naturally dark hair to prevent a nasty grow out. Also, it just looks more natural.”

Luckily for Michele, the upkeep on her new hair is almost effortless, which is important for an actress with a busy schedule.

“I sent her home with Evo Light Beige Color-Intensifying Conditioner to ensure her color remains sandy and not brassy,” Lee added.

Whether or not Michele’s new look makes it onto the small screen is yet to be seen. Clearly, the actress is ready for the summer and has a new boyfriend to enjoy it.

While their relationship continues to grow behind the scenes, fans can only hope that Michele opens up about her romance in the near future. Until then, at least fans can enjoy Michele’s new hairstyle and her upcoming part in Season 2 of Scream Queens.
