Polish Spider-Man Fights Cops With Silly String [Video]

Look out! Here comes an idiot in a Spider-Man costume.

Amateur YouTube filmmaker S.A. Wardega has made himself quite a name on the internet for dressing up in outlandish costumes and screwing with innocent civilians in Poland. Four months ago, he added a pretty impressive looking Spider-man costume to his wardrobe and has been wreaking havoc in the streets ever since. Luckily for us, he got it all on video.

Wardega’s Spider-man doesn’t have any superpowers aside from two full cans of silly string and a knack for making everyone around him uncomfortable. Yeah, we suppose he does scale the first few feet of a building and he does hang upside-down from a rail on the subway, but we wouldn’t exactly call the people he sprays in the face with silly string criminals. We think this viral prankster may have gotten his comic book pages crossed, mixing Spider-man with some kind of G-rated abridged copy of V for Vendetta.

I mean, look, is that a security camera he’s covering with his faux-webbing?

S.A Wardega’s YouTube account merely says, “Don’t take life so seriously,” a mantra that may come in handy when he’s dragged away by the cops in handcuffs. But it’s hard not to laugh at the video and even like Wardega’s hijinks a little. The Spider-man video is just shy of 1,000,000 views and floating around 10,000 “likes.”

Of course, this all adds up to great entertainment for the likes of you and I, but the folks in the video don’t look terribly pleased. One older gentleman kindly informs him, “This is not the Olympic Games.”

Judge for yourself. Is the Polish Spider-man funny, or is he kind of a jerk? Also, if I write negatively about a faux Spider-man, does that make me sort of a faux J. Jonah Jameson? At last, I may have a nemesis …
