E3 2016 Games: ‘Resident Evil 7’ To Be Revealed, New ‘Just Cause 3’ DLC Playable

Recent Twitter posts revealed that Resident Evil 7 will be included in the list of E3 2016 games. Also, new DLC for Just Cause 3 is coming to the highly-anticipated event for the video game industry.

Express reported that Resident Evil 7 is currently in the works. This is according to Dr. Serkan Toto (@serkantoto), a Tokyo-based industry analyst who posted tweets disclosing the game’s status as well as other interesting tidbits. He shared that the upcoming entry in the survival horror video game franchise will return to its “horror roots” and will “(essentially) be a clean slate.”

Games Radar noted that going back to its horror days is certainly necessary for the Capcom’s game franchise.

“A return to the proper horror days of yore is definitely what the franchise needs and, given the success of the HD remasters, something that Capcom knows leads to success,” the report said.

Furthermore, one of Toto’s tweets seemed to confidently disclose that Resident Evil 7 is one of the games that fans can expect at E3 2016. Also, there’s an addition to the development team in the name of Jordan Amaro, “a designer who previously worked on MGS V and P.T. at Kojima Productions.”

Further describing Just Cause 3, the blog post read, “The Mediterranean republic of Medici is suffering under the brutal control of General Di Ravello, a dictator with an insatiable appetite for power. Enter Rico Rodriguez, a man on a mission to destroy the General’s hold on power by any means necessary. With over 400 square miles of complete freedom from sky to seabed and a huge arsenal of weaponry, gadgets and vehicles, prepare to unleash chaos in the most creative and explosive ways you can imagine.”

Just Cause 3’s DLC plan is known as the Air, Land and Sea Expansion. The first expansion pack called Sky Fortress became available early March, and the rest are expected to be released every two months, Trusted Reviews explained.
