Video Rating Katy Perry, Selena Gomez Hotness Sparks Sexism Row
A TMZ video comparing the hotness of singers Katy Perry and Selena Gomez has sparked a sexism row on Twitter.
Fans of Perry and Gomez called “misogyny!” on the video, which cites Katy’s big boobs as a mark in her favor and suggests that Selena Gomez is only famous because of her romance with superstar Justin Bieber.
One of the announcers states that Katy’s bosom cannot be counted as a mark in her favor because the “Teenage Dream” singer is “getting old” and her luscious bosom will soon be heading south.
Fans called for the dismissal and, in one case, for the death of the male TMZ presenter. Others cried that it was “disgusting” to pit two women against one another in that way, rating them on their looks, bodies, and sex appeal.

Katy and Selena have been linked in the news recently because Gomez was photographed looking very cozy with Katy Perry’s boyfriend Orlando Bloom, according to ET.
Katy Perry was not fazed by the rumors. Sources close to the singer made vague comments saying that Katy knows “how the media can flip things around.”
Katy and Orlando were recently spotted on a yacht, and their romance appears to be going strong.
“Katy and Orlando are the real deal and are totally in love. We’ve never seen Katy this happy and so smitten. They are head over heels for each other.”
Defenders of Selena pointed out that she and Bloom have the same manager and are friends. Eyewitnesses who saw Bloom and Gomez on the night they got cozy in Las Vegas have reported that the pair were not kissing, they were only “talking closely.”
“[Selena and Orlando] have the same manager and are close friends. Selena is also very friendly and touchy-feely. Katy and Orlando are very in love and doing great.”
The Daily Mail has just published new images of smitten Katy Perry and Orlando having lunch in the Alps with their friend Kate Hudson.
Hudson, Bloom, and Perry were joined by supermodel Kate Moss and Russian entrepreneur Dasha Zhukova, wife of billionaire Roman Abramovich.
“Orlando nuzzled Katy’s cheek as they chatted with their group of friends while soaking up the atmosphere of the Alps eaterie [sic]…While Katy was talking to Kate and co, Orlando seemed completely fixated with his stunning girlfriend.”

Rumors and theories about the Selena/Katy/Orlando love triangle continue to proliferate, despite Perry’s attempts to brush them off.
Most recently, some Selena fans have implicated Taylor Swift, who is rumored to be feuding with Katy Perry and may have encouraged her best friend Selena to chase Katy’s man.
Digital Spy has provided a timeline of the rumored feud between pop megastars Katy and Taylor.
Apparently, things began to go south when both singers dated John Mayer. The romance-related friction turned into a business feud when Perry allegedly pinched some of Swift’s tour dancers.
“One dancer, Lockhart Brownlie, claimed that during the tour with Swift, Perry’s people reached out to see if he and two other dancers (Scott Myrick and Leah Adler) would perform on the world tour for Katy’s album Prism, released in 2013 – the only drawback being that they would have to leave Swift’s tour before its completion. All three agreed to these terms.”
The dancers criticized Taylor and praised Katy, painting Swift as aloof and “untouchable,” and praising Perry for her great attitude and approach.
“Taylor is very untouchable. When we did see her, we had so much fun with her, but she’s a lot more protected than Katy…Katy’s 28 now and can do her own thing. Her team are so lovely, so we have such a good connection. And this time around she is a lot more in control.”
Swift’s song “Bad Blood” from her 1989 album is rumored to be about Katy Perry. When the photographs of Taylor’s BFF Selena and Katy’s man Orlando surfaced, fans began pointing fingers and wondering if Swift had a hand in orchestrating the flirtation.
