‘Bachelor’ Stars Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell Slam Break-Up Rumors, Televised Wedding Still On?

Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have battled breakup rumors ever since the end of The Bachelor. Now, the couple has finally spoken up about their reported problems and slammed rumors of their imminent split.

According to Parent Herald, not only are Higgins and Bushnell not ending their relationship, but their wedding is still on.

Reports of a coming split started to ramp up after Bushnell made the move to Higgins’ home in Denver. Bushnell was reportedly having a difficult time adjusting to her new home and environment.

Things got so bad between them that Bushnell allegedly gave Higgins an ultimatum to move back to her hometown of Los Angeles. If Higgins failed to comply, she was ready to call off their wedding.

Part of Bushnell’s problems was that she could not find adequate work in Denver. Coupled with the fact that she had to leave behind her friends, Bushnell was at the point of breaking down.

For his part, Higgins was also getting frustrated with Bushnell’s failure to find employment. In fact, he allegedly tried to motivate her to find a good job, but his attempts did not work, leading to more tension in their relationship.

“He’s begged Lauren to get a job, get settled and make a new life for herself,” an insider explained to OK! Magazine. “But she just sits at home all day while he works.”

In light of the reports, Higgins and Bushnell sat down on The Rick Lewis Show and revealed that their relationship is stronger than ever. Even more, the pair also shared that their wedding is still going to happen.

According to Fashion & Style, Higgins and Bushnell addressed a specific rumor about a fight they had in a local Home Depot.

While the two appeared to be engaged in a heated argument, Higgins and Bushnell explained that they were discussing paint colors and picking out pillows.

To further hit back against the tide of rumors, Bushnell has posted several photos of her and Ben Higgins on social media. The images prove that the two are still very much in love.

“I’m not one to get all sentimental but Ben flew home yesterday while I stayed with my family to celebrate Mothers Day and it was the first day we’ve spent apart in a few weeks,” Bushnell wrote on Instagram. “The second he left I felt a piece of me missing. I can’t wait to get home today to the most amazing person I’ve ever met. I’m so thankful for you, Ben.”

Meanwhile, as the Inquisitr has previously reported, Higgins and Bushnell’s wedding is still in the works. In fact, Bushnell recently revealed that the ceremony might take place before the year is out.

“We’ve been engaged now for a lot longer than when the show ended, so I’m ready to at least start planning,” Bushnell stated in an interview at Indiana University. “Maybe by the end of this year.”

If Higgins and Bushnell tie the knot, they will join a select group of Bachelor and Bachelorette stars who have ended up marrying after the show. In fact, most of the couples on reality TV end up going their separate ways before getting the chance to walk down the aisle.

Fortunately for fans, it also appears as though their wedding might be a televised event. While it hasn’t been confirmed, there is some precedent for televising celebrity weddings live. Most recently, Bachelor fans were treated to a live wedding between Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici back in 2014.

Although Higgins and Bushnell have not revealed their plans for a televised wedding, fans can only hope they can ink a deal with the network in the near future.
