Nick Jonas Inadvertently Reveals Top Secret Love Triangle With Miley Cyrus And Selena Gomez

Nick Jonas has confessed to James Corden regarding a secret love triangle he kept going with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez in the past, according to Hollywood Life. The confession occurred while Nick Jonas and his BFF, Demi Lovato were aboard the popular James Corden carpool-karaoke combo with celebrities. Lovato appeared to catch her best friend off guard to the point where it became impossible for the hunky heartthrob to take his statements back.

“Miley… and then back with Selena… and then back with Miley,” Demi reveals with a laugh after their host, James Corden, questions Nick’s history.

“Thank you, Demi. Thank you,” Nick says with a sly grin before adamantly denying there is any truth to what she just said. Unfortunately, Demi is there to set the record straight and calls him out again — this time for lying!

It’s so amazing how the James Corden gig can catch celebrity participants unawares, and cause them to confess to something. To future participants, let this be a warning. The situation is akin to a skilled talk show host like Oprah, Barbara Walters, or Ellen DeGeneres trying to ferret out the truth from a guest. The only difference is the ambiance is more relaxed, so the subject being questioned does not sense a confrontational situation, thereby causing him or her to open up.

Anyway, going back to the Demi, Nick, and James trio in the car, Demi just couldn’t stop teasing her BMF with “It was Cyrus, Gomez, Cyrus, Gomez…”

“And then I don’t know what else happened,” as Demi passes on the conversation to James Corden with the consummate skill of a basketball player.

Hollywood Life also says: “Oh, and just when Nick probably thought things couldn’t get any worse… James questioned if this all went down while he was still wearing his purity ring! The answer? Yep, it sure did!”

At this point, Nick Jonas surely must have felt like a fish with a hook stuck in its mouth. He asked Corden and Lovato thus: “Are we going to keep talking about my dating life?”

In response, Lovato and Corden finally cut Nick Jonas some slack, by commencing the Karaoke Games, which turns out to be one of the coolest ones ever heard in the Games’ history – it rivals even the Adele edition.

Because everything happens so fast, it appears that Corden has been unable to establish a timeline as to when the love triangle between Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus actually began, as well as when it ended – if it ended at all. All we know is that everyone in the equation is 23 years old at this point in time.

So we did some preliminary research regarding the matter, and what we find is that the Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus triangle could have persisted until sometime in July of last year. For the smoking gun, we defer to an E Online article on July 22, 2015.

The article appeared in the midst of rumors that Nick Jonas had been dating Selena Gomez.

In the words of E Online: “Now that Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo are officially over, is he ready to rekindle his romance with Selena Gomez? The ‘Chains’ singer answered that very question in an in-studio interview with Capital FM’s Max Akhtar in London Tuesday.”

And this is where the plot thickens, because with the addition of Olivia Culpo in the equation, the purported love triangle would have actually swelled into a love quadrangle. If this were so, you’re a very bad boy, Nick. But on second thought, the young man should be given some slack for just dating. We just have to give it to Nick Jonas. After all, he just happens to be a single man with a lot of options. It’s that “so many young women, too little time” thing.

Still, one thing stands out like a sore thumb, and this is the so-called purity ring. How do you explain that, Nick Jonas?
