When Jill and Jessa: Counting On ended Season 1, both the girls talked about expanding their family in 2017. While Jessa Duggar has expressed desires to adopt and will be pursuing it after she has been married two full years, Jill Duggar may already be pregnant. According to Fashion & Style, there is a Duggar pregnancy pact. The sisters mentioned they believed they would be pregnant together again and would enjoy it. While there is approximately a six-month age gap between their first children, either woman could end up pregnant again. Rumors have plagued Jill Duggar since she began her mission trip with husband, Derrick, and son Israel.
Right now, the Duggar clan would do good to stay out of the public eye. With Josh Duggar back home in Arkansas, things could go incredibly bad for the entire family. Jill and Jessa: Counting On was supposed to be the saving grace for the family, and as it turns out, it has just made things worse. Jill Duggar has been heavily criticized ahead of becoming pregnant with her second child, and Jessa Duggar is being hounded about adoption versus having another child of her own. Both girls have expressed having a large family, but maybe not as big as their mother had.
There has been no confirmation on whether or not Jill and Jessa: Counting On will get a second season. Several advertisers pulled their ads from the show, which cost the network a lot of revenue. Despite not being associated with Josh Duggar, the show was being penalized for him being a part of the family.
