Bethenny Frankel Slammed Again For Racy Tweets: Are People Overreacting?

Bethenny Frankel is known for being a very honest person, and her thoughts and feelings do tend to rattle some people. Over the years, Bethenny has gained many loyal followers because she doesn’t sugarcoat things, but she has also lost some followers because she is too outspoken. And her mouth has gotten herself into some trouble, especially when it comes to people who don’t speak English. Frankel has been accused of being racist, and she’s been accused of telling women to sleep with men to get ahead.

According to a new tweet, Bethenny Frankel is now defending her actions, saying that people should just unfollow her if they can’t handle her thoughts and feelings. And it sounds like Frankel made a tweet about the show Blackish, and one person took the joke as something it wasn’t.

“She needs to stop making these jokes,” one person wrote on Twitter in reference to Bethenny, linking to a tweet that had since been deleted.

“Maybe u need to stop following me. It’s the name of his show. If u can’t handle my humor, you can’t handle me,” Bethenny Frankel replied, to which the follower added, “and I’m just tired of you making weird (not funny) jokes about black people. lol obviously I know that and you can clearly see that I don’t follow you but sometimes your tweets appear. You once called Drake ‘African American’ for god’s sake. This ain’t your lane, girl.”

Frankel has revealed that she doesn’t really care about what other people are saying about her. She has revealed that she truly doesn’t care about the haters and has gained some fellow followers who do believe that she gets attacked for the smallest things. And it sounds like Frankel’s followers were quick to come to her defense after the dramatic accusation.

“Seriously, there are so many other things going on in the world to be outraged about. Or fake outraged I should say,” one person wrote, while another added, “what stupid non-issue are we supposed to get outraged about today?”

Bethenny Frankel landed in hot water earlier this year after she tried to find some things at Kmart. She complained on Twitter that she didn’t speak enough Spanish to get help and revealed that the employees were lazy and didn’t speak English. Some people took offense to her tweets and within days, Frankel was labeled as a racist.

“Wow @Kmart has 2 registers open w 5 other employees standing around & two speak no English whatsoever. Shoes are spats right,” Bethenny previously tweeted, according to Radar Online, adding, “Not even attempting kids’ snow boots in Spanish.”

The hatred she received was enough for her to explain her tweet, sharing that it had nothing to do with race. Instead, Bethenny Frankel revealed that it was about a major retailer not being able to serve their customers and not being able to direct customers to the things they needed. While she was just frustrated that she didn’t get the help she was looking for, Bethenny Frankel’s tweet did cause a media storm she wasn’t expecting.

“No excuse for being at a retailer & not able to be directed to what u need. 0 to do w race. I’ll explain but can’t understand it for you,” Frankel revealed in her own defense, adding later, “This is so heartbreaking. I have never seen it like this. I just picked up a limping man & his groceries in a parking lot. Be safe.”

What do you think about Bethenny Frankel being outspoken? Do you think she should celebrate her right to say what’s on her mind, or do you think people have a point in how she’s saying things?
