‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Fights Back Against Bad Parenting Allegations After ‘Disturbing Video’ Surfaces

Teen Mom 2 Leah Messer has been accused of bad parenting for the last couple of seasons of the MTV series, and last month, a report alleged Messer’s daughter with Corey Simms, 6-year-old Ali, had suffered a “nasty fall” while left unattended at a playground.

On April 27, Radar Online claimed Ali, who suffers from a rare form of muscular dystrophy, fell on her back and head while swinging as her mother, Leah Messer, spoke to a friend about her relationship drama.

“I know kids fall, but [Leah Messer] definitely wasn’t watching them at the park,” one viewer wrote on social media, as another added, “Ali fell so hard. [Leah Messer] didn’t even check her head. She could of (sic) gotten a concussion. All she did was wipe off her back.”

Messer was also accused of failing to watch her youngest daughter, 3-year-old Adalynn, who was also at the park with her sisters, including Ali’s twin, Aleeah. However, according to a tweet shared on May 14, Leah Messer’s children weren’t unattended during their visit to the playground.

“Wow..there was definitely someone there! #A**Holes,” Leah Messer told fans, along with a link to Radar Online‘s story.

Around the same time, Leah Messer added a second tweet, which read, “You know you’re well grounded and healthier than ever when you can stay focused and keep moving forward!”

While Leah claims to be in a good place currently, her on-screen drama with ex-husband Corey Simms is far from over, and in a sneak peek at tonight’s new episode of the show, shared by Starcasm earlier this month, Leah Messer reveals to her sister that Simms wants to be named as their twins’ primary custodian once again.

“Today I get his objection that West Virginia law does not recognize joint custodian,” Messer told her sister, Victoria. “I know plenty of parents that’s done joint custodian… I mean, if you’re both good parents, then there should be nothing wrong. And then he says that he should be the primary custodian because they live — or, they go to school in his district and whatever else. No! OK, I do everything, so maybe I should be the primary custodian.”

During a previous episode, Messer and Simms came to a joint agreement for their kids (Simms had been named as primary custodian in October 2015), but apparently, their agreement didn’t last and now, Simms is hoping to regain the control he once had. Meanwhile, Leah feels what he is doing is only hurting their children.

“To do what he’s done to my kids, I — I — I don’t — I don’t care if he takes another breath! And I don’t know what else to do. All I can do is fight against it. That’s all I can do,” Leah Messer explained.

In addition to her conversation with Victoria, Leah Messer will also be faced with a “disturbing video” during tonight’s show, which reportedly rocks her co-parenting relationship with Simms. Although the video was mentioned in an episode synopsis shared by Starcasm last week, no details regarding the contents of the clip were given.

Leah Messer and Corey Simms have been fighting over custody of their twin girls for the last couple of years. In 2014, amid allegations of Messer’s potential drug habit, Simms filed for full custody.
