Mitt Romney and music just don’t go well together. Another musician, this time Dee Snider of the band Twisted Sister, has asked the GOP Candidate’s campaign to stop using his song “We’re Not Gonna Take It.”

According to News Day, the song was used by Paul Ryan, Mitt’s potential vice president, during a  campaign stop in Pennsylvania earlier this week.

Snider’s label Razor & Tie said in a statement:

“It was brought to the attention of the management today that Paul Ryan has been using … Dee Snider’s composition ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ in his political campaign to become the Vice President of The United States of America… Dee does not support Paul Ryan.”

Snyder also sent a note to campaign reporter Benjy Sarlin, writing:

“I emphatically denounce Paul Ryan’s use of my song ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ as recorded by my band Twisted Sister. There is almost nothing on which I agree with Paul Ryan, except perhaps the use of the P90X.”

Ryan’s spokesman Brandon Buck responded with an email, writing: “We’re Not Gonna Play It anymore.”

Dee Snider isn’t the first musician to say that they don’t want their music associated with the Mitt Romney campaign. Earlier this month, the Silver Suns told Mitt Romney to stop playing their song. Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine also came out against the GOP team after Ryan said that he was a huge fan of the band.

Morello said:

“Paul Ryan’s love of Rage Against the Machine is amusing, because he is the embodiment of the machine that our music has been raging against for two decades…”

The politician also found opposition from the band Devo who released a song about how Mitt Romney treats his dog.
