Andi Dorfman Admits To One Last Fling With Josh Murray, Shares Why She Wrote Her Book

Andi Dorfman is speaking out about her time with Josh Murray in her new book, and she isn’t holding anything back. Andi and Josh fell in love on The Bachelorette, but it didn’t end up working out for them. USA Today shared what Andi had to say about one last fling she had with Josh after their split and why she decided to write her book, It’s Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak into Happily Never After.

Andi Dorfman seems really happy with her decision to write this book. It talks about her time on The Bachelorette, but also her very public relationship with Josh Murray. She shared about writing the book, saying the process was cathartic.

“I think a lot of (writing the book) was kind of like to rid that embarrassment and the shame that a lot of us, especially women, feel when it comes to breaking up. You forget life isn’t perfect and social media isn’t all that real, and breakups happen and relationships fail.”

The reality is that Andi Dorfman doesn’t hold anything back. She talks about when you have a big split and drink more wine and eat extra take-out. She also discussed how you also end up not taking care of yourself near as much at this point in your life. Andi even admits that she actually had one last fling with Josh after their split. She thought it might bring closure, but of course, that never works. Andi shared the details.

“That’s a topic that comes up with women and in relationships. It’s like, do you go for that last fling? And, if so why? Like, what are you doing? How? When? People are faced with that decision all the time so I wasn’t going to hold back with that kind of stuff.”

Andi Dorfman does say that the book wasn’t meant as a jab at Josh Murray, but you never know who might take it that way. She was telling her personal story. Andi says that she didn’t sugar coat anything and was very honest. Other women will be able to relate to what she has to say about her past. Andi is still happy about her time with Josh and shared her thoughts.

“I’m not gonna lie and say that there’s not feelings of anger, hurt, or whatever. But there’s also still feelings of love and happiness. I did fall in love, and I did feel some of the happiest moments of my life, but to me, it’s like reading an old story. It doesn’t have any bearing on my life now.”

Josh Murray isn’t staying quiet about Andi Dorfman’s book either. Right now, he has a new reality show called Famously Single that will start airing on E! on June 14. Glamour revealed what Josh Murray thinks about Andi Dorfman’s new book.

“To be honest, I’m kind of staying quiet about it. I respected the relationship and what we had, but I am not one to kiss and tell. She can take whatever road she wants to take. I just pray for her happiness and peace and hope she can get [past] it.”
