Nicki Minaj’s Ex Safaree Samuels Joining ‘Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’ Amid Lawsuit Battle With Rapper

Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels has allegedly signed on to star in the upcoming series of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, which returns later this year on VH1.

According to reports, the rapper, who is now dating co-star Nikki Mudarris, felt the decision was a perfect move for him to not only document his relationship with the socialite but also promote his own music on the program.

Samuels, who has released several mixtapes since his break-up from Nicki — all which enjoyed minimal success — is allegedly assuring himself that the Love & Hip Hop platform can help him turn into the successful rapper he has been wanting to become for years.

Minaj’s fans have questioned themselves as to whether or not the relationship between Safaree and Nikki Mudarris is genuine, especially since the reality star is known to have a new boyfriend by her side for every new season of the show.

Safaree, on the other hand, has been making numerous appearances on reality TV, a very odd choice when considering how private the music producer was when he was still together with Nicki, whom he spent more than 10 years with.

The couple were said to have gotten engaged back in 2014, but when Minaj hinted at her ex-fiancé’s presumable cheating affairs, the “Starships” hitmaker wasn’t ready to put up with it and allegedly moved out. Nicki would go on to date rapper Meek Mill while Safaree has been linked to a number of reality stars since his split from Minaj.

News of Safaree Samuels potentially joining the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood cast comes just days after Nicki slammed her ex for suing her, claiming she emotionally and physically abused him, and now he wants her to pay up.

In a series of tweets, Minaj wrote, “Tweeted on the 5th that the 6th was my baby’s bday. Celebrated on the 6th for his bday (publicly). Served w/a lawsuit on the 9th. lol. Two years later this poor excuse of a man is suing me & claiming to have been physically & emotionally abused. Lol. He’s so miserable.”

Nicki would go on to continue, saying, “My man asked him to stop emailing me. I also asked him several times. This man can’t move on. It’s really sad. I have the emails to prove it. U really want me showing these emails? I know u need a story line to be on reality Tv. God punishing u & u bout to get more!!!!!”

She concluded by alleging that Safaree Samuels had stolen money from her prior to their breakup, and since he is suing her for emotional distress, she’ll be suing him for the cash that suddenly went missing — and she reportedly has the evidence to prove it.

Clearly, the relationship between Safaree and Nicki is anything but cordial. It appears as if Minaj has already moved on, but Samuels continuously drags the rapper back into odd circumstances — filing lawsuits two years since their split.

With that in mind, however, this makes perfect reality television. And furthermore, if Safaree Samuels is willing to spill secrets regarding his romance with Nicki Minaj, he is bound to make a perfect fit on Love & Hip Hop.
