Chumlee Arrest Update: Did The ‘Pawn Stars’ Fav Post Clues On Social Media A Week Before Court Date?

After nearly two months of complete social media silence, the affable Pawn Stars favorite, Chumlee, has suddenly become very active on social media. Did he leave clues on social media about his status on Pawn Stars, and what really happened when he was arrested?

Most of all, everyone wants to know if Chumlee got fired? Is Chumlee still on Pawn Stars?

TMZ reported that on March 9, 2016 authorities raided the home of Austin Lee Russell on a sexual assault warrant. The affable reality star was arrested for possessing over a dozen weapons. In addition, they found Xanax bars, a few meth capsules, and a great deal of marijuana. Most of this was uncovered in a vault that the Pawn Stars fave opened when cooperating with law enforcement. After he was arrested and charged, Chumlee was released on $62,000 bail.

Since then the rumors began to swirl. Was Chumlee really broke? What actually happened? Is Chumlee still on Pawn Stars? Was Chumlee charged with sexual assault? Did Chumlee get fired?

As Chumlee was totally silent on social media, there has not been any explanation. Many have surmised that Chumlee’s boss, Rick Harrison, owner of the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop via email told Fox 411,We don’t have details yet, but we are here to help Chumlee any way we can.”

It has been universally assumed that Chumlee was advised to stay off of social media until after his trial. So, fans were happily surprised to find that the reality star recently created a new Instagram account and returned to Twitter posting original tweets. What is interesting is that Chum also retweeted comments about him by others. Did Chumlee give his fans some clues to how he is doing? Did he try to answer his critics?

While we still do not have any official answers. Most of all, we want to know, is Chumlee still on Pawn Stars? Chum’s response to a tweet may indicate that yes, he is returning. When fan Shaun York @bootfeet tweeted @chumlee_are you guys still filming the show?

So, what has Chum been doing the past few weeks? Sounds like he has been hanging out with his dog and family, cleaning up his sneaker collection, and having some fun while waiting for his life to move forward. Nothing can happen until he knows the results from the May 23, 2016 court date. The verdict will determine what happens next to the favorite from Pawn Stars.
