Superman And Wonder Woman To Start Dating

Lois Lane who? The man of steel and the woman with the invisible plane are now an item. Yes, Superman and Wonder Woman are dating.

Entertainment Weekly reports that DC Comics did away with Superman’s marriage to Lois Lane when they rebooted the series last year. The writers have been flirting with a few leading ladies since then and now they’ve found the perfect woman for Superman: Wonder Woman.

DC Comics said that Superman and Wonder Woman will start “their next level relationship” in Justice League #12, which will hit stands on August 29th.

It’s unclear how the two superheros fall in love, but according to writer Geoff Johns, the new relationship will be forged through a tragic event that will effect the entire Justice League.

The origins of the relationship may be unknown but Johns said that this isn’t just some super-fling. Johns said: “This is the new status quo.”

So how will fans take the news about this new super-couple?

Cover artist Jim Lee said that he isn’t sure if people will embrace or reject the idea, but he is sure that it will get people talking.

Lee said:

“Hopefully this will raise a lot of eyebrows…. We welcome the watercooler chatter.”
