Pia Wurtzbach, Dr. Mike Split? Miss Universe 2015 Posts Cryptic Instagram Update

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach’s recent Instagram post, seemingly about her relationship with Dr. Mike, worried many of her followers, with many speculating that the two have broken up. The beauty queen also warned fans against a fake Facebook account, which used her name to promote the Marcoses, as well as campaign for presumptive Philippine president, now president-elect, Rodrigo Duterte.

Pia Wurtzbach surprised her followers when she posted a photo on Instagram, with the caption, “Boy, I’m a prize not a catch.”

Many thought that the Miss Universe 2015 winner was talking about her relationship with Dr. Mike. They speculated that the two have broken up. Fans of the beauty queen were quick to offer words of encouragement, adding that she will soon find the right man for her.

“I think you mean you are not just another notch in his bed post. You are more than that Pia,” a fan wrote.

Some, on the other hand, claimed that Wurtzbach had the quote all wrong, explaining that it should be the other way around.

Just a couple of weeks ago, Pia and Dr. Mike went on a helicopter ride, days after she returned from Peru. The short trip came weeks after she confirmed that she is dating the “Sexiest Doctor Alive.” Pia, however, insisted that her responsibility as Miss Universe 2015 would always come first.

“As I said before, Miss Universe is still my priority. I’ve been working to get this title for a very long time and I love my job, I really do, and it’s going to stay that way for a long time.”

While Dr. Mike was the first one to break the news back in March, Pia explained that he knew very well what he was getting into when they started dating.

“He’s been very respectful in knowing that my priority is Miss Universe and I appreciate that very much. He knows that this is my life right now,” she shared.

In other news, on her Twitter page, Pia Wurtzbach encouraged her fans to stop believing everything they saw or read online. She explained that the Facebook page, using her name to promote the Marcoses, is a fake account. According to ABS-CBN News, the moderators of the page described themselves as supporters of the reigning Miss Universe. The beauty queen, however, clearly did not appreciate fans using her name to praise the late Ferdinand Marcos.

“Again. Not me. Please, people! I do not talk like this. You should know me better,” she posted.

In April, Wurtzbach also called out another fan page after its moderators created a poll on Facebook, asking fans to choose between presidential candidates Rodrigo Duterte and Miriam Santiago.

“Please stop. This is not real. This is not me. Thank you ? I have a fan page and a fan group that is being handled by Daryl and of course the Official Miss Universe Facebook page. Please help me spread the word out,” she said.

While she is not campaigning for any of the candidates, Pia has been encouraging her countrymen to pray for a peaceful and fair election process. She also hoped that the next leader of the country would continue to rally for LGBT equality.
