Dwayne Johnson’s popularity as “The Rock” propelled him to the WWF Championship when he won the 1998 Survivor Series at age 26. Johnson’s stint with WWE has made him a household name for many across the world. In 2000, Dwayne Johnson took time off from WWE to film his first appearance in Hollywood by featuring in The Mummy Returns, and since then, the heavyweight has featured in several motion pictures including Be Cool, The Rundown, The Scorpion King, Walking Tall, and several others.

The Hindustan Times reports that the actor recently celebrated his 44th birthday, receiving good wishes from various celebrities around the world, including those from India.

Foremost amongst the Indian celebrities were Bollywood stars Priyanka Chopra and Varun Dhawan, who wished the Fast & Furious star a very happy 44th birthday. Varun Dhawan wished the wrestling champion well by referring to him as the sportsperson who has inspired millions of people.
