Lindsay Lohan Not A Suspect In Jewelry Theft

Lindsay Lohan, the troubled Hollywood starlet who has been trying desperately to revamp her image after some high profile run ins with the law over the last few years, has found herself caught in the middle of yet another jewelry theft accusation. The Inquisitr reported that she was taken in for questioning of some high end jewelry taken from a friend’s Hollywood home. The police have told Lohan that she is not a suspect.

On Monday, TMZ reported that Lohan was taken in for questioning involving the robbery, which happened over the weekend. She was at the Hollywood Hills house for a party and stayed the night along with some friends. When she woke up the next day, the owner of the home told them that some jewelry and sunglasses had been stolen.

The owner of the house does not think that Lohan stole the jewelry but that doesn’t apply to the men that Lindsay brought with her, who he does think stole it. Lindsay told the man she had nothing at all to do with any theft.

The police were summoned to the home and asked Lindsay to submit to questioning. After answering some of the inquiries of the police, Lohan asked them if she was a suspect.

When the police told her she was not a suspect, she left.

Last May, Lohan was sentenced to 120 days in jail for the theft of a $25,000 necklace from a Los Angeles jewelry store. She originally told police that the necklace was loaned to her and her stylist should have returned it. The store countered that she walked out of the store wearing it after trying it on. In the end, Lohan pleaded no contest to the charge.
