‘American Horror Story’ Releases New Video On Lady Gaga [Video]

American Horror Story Season 6 is about to get a whole lot better. With the new video just released on Lady Gaga, there is much to learn for what we can expect in the next installment of the horror anthology series on FX.

Just as soon as you thought it would be safe for Lady Gaga to come back on to American Horror Story, just consider how the singer/actress evolved on Season 5 of the show, Hotel.

Although Lady Gaga is perhaps best known for her work in the music industry, she has now proven that she can handle a dramatic and macabre role on one of TV’s greatest shows. American Horror Story was not just an acting gig for Gaga, but rather her first foray into the industry that gave her just as much credibility as the music industry gives her. She has proven that even in a role so horrifying, she can still stun and shine like a true superstar.

Lady Gaga might have even been a perfect replacement for Jessica Lange, who left the show after Season 4. But there is still much for her to accomplish before she truly fills Lange’s role on American Horror Story. Some might even say that if it weren’t for Jessica Lange, American Horror Story might not have been as big as it is today.

American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy spoke about how he and Lady Gaga came together for Season 5 of the show.

“The interesting thing about Gaga on doing [American] Horror Story is that I did not choose her, she chose me… which was incredible. My phone rang and she said ‘I’m really in the mood to change things up. I’ve always wanted to act. Do you think you can write a little something for me?'” Murphy said.

Initially, it did not seem like Lady Gaga was going to be the main attraction for the entire Season 5 of American Horror Story, but Murphy described it as an evolution that started with two episodes and gradually went to the whole season.

“It went from being two episodes to eight episodes, to… you know, she’s the run of the season this year,” Murphy said.

There has already been confirmation that Lady Gaga would be back for Season 6 of American Horror Story and there is no doubt that she is back to impress. But there has also been chatter about American Horror Story alum Emma Roberts returning to the show and making a small run in Season 6, opposite Lady Gaga.

Fans of American Horror Story have already surmised that the show is not big enough for the two stars, who have such an electric presence on the show. If you were to add Jessica Lange to an episode, or maybe two, of Season 6, then there is no doubt that it would feature an arc where the three ladies would be fighting to the death, kind of like Bette Davis and Joan Crawford.

Speaking of Davis and Crawford, Murphy has another show coming out called Feud and Jessica Lange has already signed on to the leading role in that film, portraying Crawford in the biopic series about the two legendary women of classic cinema.

But that also has some wondering if it will leave enough room for Lange to make a surprise appearance on Season 6 of American Horror Story, which most have been begging for on social media.

Even though the main theme for Season 6 of American Horror Story has not been announced yet, Murphy has weighed in on it and said that AHS fans can expect there to be some creepy, potentially deadly, children in the show next year.
