Justin Timberlake Skypes Baby Silas During Cannes 2016 To Promote New Song

Justin Timberlake may be on the red carpets of Cannes 2016 with his Troll co-star Anna Kendrick, but his mind is right back at home. Despite his multiple engagements at Cannes 2016, the singer is squeezing in as many Skype dates with his baby Silas.

“The 35-year-old superstar couldn’t help but gush over his baby boy Silas at the Cannes Film Festival, where he’s promoting Trolls with co-star Anna Kendrick,” reports Entertainment Tonight.

“I’ve been just showing Anna videos over and over again,” the singer said, and Anna Kendrick was prompt to chime in that his “constant Skyping with his 1-year-old baby boy was ‘so annoying.'”

To that, Justin replied, “I mean, Cannes Film Festival is amazing, but my son is everything.”

Sounds like he has accepted fatherhood to the fullest of his extent.

This became slightly controversial because he called her a “MILF,” but it just shows that the couple managed to keep a sense of humor about them as they go through the first year with a baby in their house and relationship.

In fact, the fact that Jessica and Justin are willing to laugh through life may be the success of their relationship. When she was asked about her baby and how he is similar to his daddy, she explained that the baby also shares their sense of humor.

“He is a ham, just like his dad — serious ham,” Jessica told the morning show at a Baby2Baby Mother’s Day event according to Daily Mail. “‘He thinks everything is funny. He goofs on me all the time.”

“He thinks sneezing is really funny. He’s in that moment where he thinks bodily functions are really funny,” she added.

But right now, Justin Timberlake is in Cannes 2016 to promote his new song and his new movie Trolls, and so far, he has been blowing it out of the water.

“Trolls costars Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick serenaded the crowd at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday, May 11, with an emotional rendition of Cyndi Lauper’s hit song ‘True Colors,’ a standard in the gay community.” reports Us Weekly.

“Can’t Stop This Feeling” is the new song that he released for Trolls, the upcoming animation movie by DreamWorks. This is the first song that he released in three years, which got the fans wondering if he will ever get around to making a full album. Having a baby son around certainly didn’t make it easy for him to step into the studio.

But it looks like he is itching to get back to work. Justin recently “detailed how follow-up material to 2013’s The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 sprung from the project and he also hinted at a future collaboration with the Weeknd,” reports the Rolling Stone.

And his wife will be there every step of the way, supporting him. She recently revealed just how much support she gets from him, so it only makes sense for her to return the favor.

“He’s not one of those people to pooh-pooh an idea or a passion. He is the person who says, ‘Do it. And if it fails, it fails. But you did it,'” Jessica said to C Magazine. “I’m sure he was probably thinking, ‘It’s going to be hard.'”
