Erika Girardi Fakes Friendship With Yolanda Foster: ‘RHOBH’ Star Used Show To Help With Career [Report]

Erika Girardi has been able to escape most of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills drama throughout Season 6. She was added to the cast as a friend of Yolanda Foster but melded with the other ladies well for the most part. There were some moments filled with drama for Girardi, but she was left out of the Munchausen Syndrome insanity brought on by Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump. This was likely because she is close with Foster and would definitely take up for her sick friend.

After a special episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aired last night, Erika Girardi’s integrity has been called into question. Several of the scenes showcased Tom and Erika Girardi dining with David and Yolanda Foster. There were some moments that didn’t make sense, and some commentary has been made about the inconsistencies. According to All About the Tea, Erika Girardi’s friendship with Yolanda Foster is totally fake. While this is just a report with minimal facts to back it up, some of the points have made fans wonder. Could this have just been a master plan put into motion by Bravo to help the viewers connect with newbie Erika Girardi?

The story goes that Erika Girardi and Yolanda Foster have been friends for 10 years. While that may very well be true, some of the comments have poked holes in the story. When Foster’s daughter showed up, she was unaware of who Erika Girardi’s husband was. She did look familiar enough with Erika, but her husband wasn’t someone she recognized. Also, when asked whether or not Foster had seen Erika Jayne perform live, she had not. After being friends for 10 years, that is questionable. All of this seems to lead to a little manipulation done behind the scenes, and fans aren’t going to let it go. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been plagued all season long with scandal after scandal, and this is the latest issue to float to the surface.

Rumors circulated just a few days ago that Erika Girardi and Yolanda Foster wanted to get their own show on the Bravo network based on their loyalty. While that may be appealing to some viewers, fans of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills generally watch for the overwhelming drama. The dynamic between Girardi and Foster has been pure, which doesn’t leave room for much drama. It appears that the two have known one another for quite some time, but the duration of their friendship is something that has fans wondering. Bravo likely will not award these ladies a spin-off, but they will likely remain on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 7.

Regardless of the situation surrounding their friendship, Erika Girardi has Yolanda Foster’s back completely. She was honest with her friend throughout the season on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. When both Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump talked about Lyme disease and whether or not Foster was legitimately sick, Erika Girardi stood up for her friend. She participated with all of the ladies in the activities planned, even if Foster wasn’t along for the ride. It isn’t shocking that their friendship is being picked apart by fans and the media. It was probably one of the only constant things on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season. Girardi may be a lot of things, but being fake isn’t something she takes lightly. Being there for Foster was more important to her than making a name for herself by using the show’s fame. Just because Erika Girardi may be living a double life with her performing persona, it certainly doesn’t mean she is less than real in her personal life.
