Did Lindsey Vonn And Tiger Woods’ Ex Avoid Each Other At Kentucky Derby?

Organizers were told that they needed to keep Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods’ ex wife, Elin Nordegren, apart at the Kentucky Derby, but did the two women have other plans? Of the women in Tiger Woods’ past, Nordegren and Vonn are two of the more upstanding citizens, but it has been reported that the two don’t truly like each other. Did the Vonn camp or Nordegren camp put out the mandate?

According to the Inquisitr, Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods wrapped up their three-year relationship because she claims that it was better for her to be single at this time. The rumors of infidelity were a distraction for Vonn, who is interested in getting back to being tops internationally in women’s skiing, and Vonn claims that she also supports Tiger Woods being known again for golf rather than his sexual exploits.

Page Six says that both Tiger Woods’ exes, Lindsey Vonn and Elin Nordegren, were in Kentucky with invites for various Kentucky Derby parties, and party planners were instructed to keep the beautiful blondes apart. Though there has never been a throw down between the two, it seemed important for some reason to keep some space between Vonn and Nordegren.

Nordegren and Vonn first crossed paths Friday night at the Barnstable Brown Foundation Gala, which was also attended by Kate Upton, Jon Voight, and Megyn Kelly. Nordegren divorced Tiger Woods in 2010 after finally having enough of Woods’ chronic infidelity. Nordegren then left the gala and headed to the breeder Black Rock Thoroughbreds’ Fillies & Stallions party, with Vonn not far behind.

According to sources, the locations of Vonn and Nordegren were known all weekend, as if it was part of a critical mission.

“The staff was being told over a walkie-talkie that Lindsey was on her way over and must be put in a different area from Elin. They were very clear about that.”

Lindsey Vonn reportedly did not want her photo taken at the evening events, and both Vonn and Nordegren claim that the need to stay apart did not come from them. A source close to Elin Nordegren explained that considering the calibre of women that Woods ran around with at one time, Nordegren actually liked Lindsey Vonn.

“Elin really liked Lindsey because the kids really liked her.”

It is reportedly thought that keeping the women apart would make the two being at the same location a non-story, but instead, it seems like all of the efforts to keep them apart became the story, with the world knowing that Vonn and Nordegren were both at the Kentucky Derby.

But Radar Online says that what is reportedly considered the worst nightmare of Tiger Woods came true at the actual Kentucky Derby when Elin Nordegren, Woods’ ex-wife, and Lindsey Vonn, his former long-term girlfriend ran into each other, which seemed inevitable. Vonn took the high road and not only chatted with Nordegren, but she had a photo taken with the other beautiful blonde and posted it to her Instagram account, clearing the air while paying Elin a compliment. It was as if she wanted to tell all of the naysayers that the two have no issues, and they’ve moved on passed Woods, and so should everyone else.

“Great to see Elin and friends at the #kentuckyderby last weekend. She was stunning as always!”

It’s hard to imagine what party planners thought would happen if the two were not happy to see each other because icy stares are generally not fatal.
