First look at Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer

Infinity Ward just dropped the first multiplayer trailer of Modern Warfare 2 on an unsuspecting Internet, and I do believe this is what the kids call “hot.”

The video below focuses on one of the fifteen different killstreak rewards that will be available for unlocking. In this case, killing eleven enemies consecutively allows you to become a gunner on board an AC-130 gunship. Again: you become a gunner on board an AC-130 gunship. If you’re as ‘good’ as I am at Call of Duty, you’ll never manage eleven consecutive kills, so this may be the first and last time you see anybody rocking the AC-130.

Aha, and what’s that at the end? Sticky grenades? Christonabike, great stuff.

No idea what the other fourteen killstreak rewards are (crab battle?), but I’m calling this now: after the slightly underwhelming reaction to Call of Duty: World at War, Infinity Ward has pulled this wagon around.
