Kaley Cuoco Divorce: ‘Big Bang Theory’ Star is ‘Happier Than Ever’ After Winning Big In The Divorce Settlement With Ryan Sweeting
Kaley Cuoco just finalized the divorce settlement with her ex-husband Ryan Sweeting, and she proved once again what a shrewd businesswoman she is. The Big Bang Theory star said in an interview that she is “happier than ever” after finalizing her divorce with Sweeting and who wouldn’t be? Cuoco reportedly walked away with pretty much everything, including $72 million that she will earn on the hit CBS show. Sweeting didn’t do nearly as well, walking away with a total of about $165,000.
According to Hollywood Life, Kaley Cuoco took one last dig at Ryan Sweeting as they wrapped up their divorce settlement. Kaley told CBS This Morning that she was “happier than ever” post-divorce. Is that because she’s been dating a new guy and just recently was able to go public with him?

Hoda Kotb asked Kaley about her new man, Karl Cook, during the interview. After telling the morning show host that about how happy she is, Cuoco admitted that Karl is “special.” It turns out that Cook is an equestrian, something near and dear to Kaley’s heart. It was reported that it is their special connection over horses that drew the new couple together.
Since taking her new relationship public, Kaley Cuoco has been posting pictures of herself and Karl Cook on Instagram. They have also been seen hanging out in public together and Hollywood Life reported that the cute new couple has even been caught in a few light PDA sessions.

“I’m not ashamed of anything that happened. I fall in love really hard… that person is it for me and I love hard, and when it’s over, it’s over,” Cuoco said in her interview. “I wouldn’t call it a mistake, it just is what happened in my life and so I’m excited to see what the future holds… and now I have to say I’m happier than I’ve ever been.”
News of Kaley’s new man came right before reports that she finally finalized her divorce from tennis pro Ryan Sweeting. The Big Bang Theory star dominated when it came to splitting up their assets. Kaley’s prenup was so ironclad that she didn’t have to give up much after two years of marriage.
Kaley Cuoco got to keep all of her $72 million paycheck from starring as Penny in Big Bang Theory. She also was awarded two of the couple’s homes in Santa Barbara and Tarzana. As part of the divorce settlement, Kaley will also be paying for Ryan Sweeting’s trainers, and he gets to keep any gift cards or cash that he has.
Ryan Sweeting reportedly asked for spousal support after the divorce filing, but it looks like he didn’t get very far with that request. Kaley is said to have a pretty solid prenup and she was married to Ryan before the huge contract she signed with Big Bang Theory. As a result, Kaley got to walk away with everything she earned and won’t lose much in ending her marriage with Sweeting.
As far as the new guy, we can only imagine that Kaley Cuoco will take her sweet time dating Karl Cook before she ties the knot again. So far, Kaley really does look happier than she’s ever been and apparently she doesn’t have to worry about whether Cook is after her huge Big Bang Theory fortune. Kaley’s new boyfriend is the son of a billionaire and definitely isn’t hurting for cash.
