Bill Gates Jerry Seinfield Microsoft Ad 2
After heavy head shaking following the first effort, the Bill Gates Jerry Seinfield Microsoft ad series returns for a second run above. According to VentureBeat this is the uncut version, which makes sense given it runs for 4:30, but still, it’s yet another ad about nothing, with a short bit about connecting people at the end.
Leave your thoughts in the comments. I’m being good and reserving mine for now

I saw this ad on cable tonight. I really wanted to like it, but it just was, well, nothing. I don't get it, not one bit. It's sad, too, because I'm rooting for it while I'm watching meaningless drivel float past my eyes. At the end, all I could do was shake my head (again) and quietly whisper “WTF?”

Am slightly scratching my head but I think I know where they are headed with this stuff. By having Gates in it they are “personalizing” the company/products. They are trying to connect with the average consumer as they have the enterprise sown up.

I love them. I think they are hilarious. Everybody is scratching their heads trying to understand whats going on.
The ads have been featured on all the major tech blogs and on a lot of minor blogs as well. You can't get that kind of exposure for $300,000,000

Maybe it's about nothing because Jerry Seinfeld's in it. Liked this one much better than the first.

This was a great video. I have no idea how it will sell Windows or Microsoft but I would definitely watch a movie with these guys it would be a lot of fun to watch
