Michael Fassbender And Alicia Vikander Too Occupied For Each Other?
The most workaholic couple in Hollywood has got to be Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander. With the actress winning this year’s Oscars and the actor now revving up his career to get another shot at Academy Awards glory, they are working so hard that their relationship may be in jeopardy.
The upcoming movie Assassin’s Creed, “with Fassbender starring as Callum Lynch, an alienated, violent drifter who discovers that he is descended from a 15th century Spanish assassin named Aguilar,” is set to be released on December 21, 2016, according to Los Angeles Times. With a huge following from the original game, Assassin’s Creed will put Michael on the map of commercial and mainstream success.
On top of all that, Michael Fassbender is also about to snag another movie role, actually quite similar from the one in Assassin’s Creed.
“Michael Fassbender is in talks to star as a serial killer in Broad Green Pictures’ Entering Hades with Storyscape Entertainment and Fassbender’s DMC Film producing,” reports Variety.
On the other hand, his girlfriend Alicia Vikander is making bigger and bigger steps in her career by starting her own production company,
“The 27-year-old Swedish actress has launched her own production banner Vikarious Productions along with her London-based agent Charles Collier of Tavistock Wood,” reports Deadline. “The company has set its first feature, Euphoria, with Vikander also set to star alongside Eva Green as sisters in conflict traveling through Europe towards a mystery destination.”
Having her own production company means that she will have much greater say in the kinds of movies that she stars in, as well as scouting for scripts that fit her goals and career aspirations, instead of her constantly auditioning for roles that big industries hold out to her.
This was indeed a smart career move on the part of the 26-year-old Swede.
But this isn’t the only thing that Alicia Vikander is working on. She also has been cast as Lara Croft in the next Tomb Raider movie, kind of interesting since her boyfriend is also working on a movie inspired by a video game.
“Video game movies may have the deck stacked against them from the start, but it sure helps out to have one of the most popular new actresses in the world as your star,” reports Forbes. “And the Tomb Raider film has just landed Alicia Vikander, who will lead as the young adventurer, Lara Croft.”
Just because Alicia has been rocking it in her film career doesn’t mean that her style section has been also going well. She received some interesting feedback for the dress she chose to wear for Met Gala 2016. Have a good look yourself and decide if she needs to step up her dress game.

Things might not be totally hopeless for the two workaholic lovers. They do have The Light Between Oceans coming to be released, which means that they get to spend a good chunk of time on the promotional tour as well as red carpets.
The movie is due to be released on September 2, 2016, which is just about four months from now. Let’s hope that Michael and Alicia stay together until then. That red carpet appearance will be ugly if they, for whatever reason, decide to call their relationship off.
