Eva Mendes Gives Birth, Pulls Off Two-Week Epic Baby Secret With Ryan Gosling

Remember when the world found out that Eva Mendes was pregnant with her second child and had kept it a secret for months? Well, it turns out that she and beau Ryan Gosling had kept it a secret for nine whole months. When the news of the pregnancy broke, Eva was just about ready to give birth.
According to TMZ, Eva and Ryan welcomed their second child, believed to be another girl, about two weeks ago in Santa Monica. Surprise!
The ultra-private couple was able to keep their second pregnancy under wraps, not unlike their first. This time, however, they did an even better job, not letting anyone know their baby secret, and that did not change after their second baby was born.
“According to the birth certificate, Amada Lee Gosling was born April 29th at 8:03 AM. The baby was born at Providence St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica. The mother on the birth certificate is listed as Eva De La Caridad Mendez. The dad is Ryan Thomas Gosling.”
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have not confirmed this news, but it seems beyond obvious that they just pulled off one of the most epic Hollywood secrets ever. The photos of a pregnant Eva Mendes that were posted online weeks ago thanks to paparazzi actually depicted an 8-month baby bump, which no one knew about. Fans and media members suspected that Eva was five or six months along at most, and that she was due sometime in the fall.

Eva Mendes remained cool, calm, and collected, and did not let anyone know that she was ready to pop. She and Ryan Gosling went to the hospital — quietly — and did not catch the attention of any paparazzi on the way. The best part of it all is that the couple had their baby and brought their little one home, keeping this all quiet for two weeks time. It is actually quite amazing when you think about it.
Other celebrity couples who are notoriously private (like Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds) may be able to keep some things quiet, but Eva and Ryan have just taken it to another level.
Eva Mendes is one of several celebrity moms to be welcoming a second child in 2016. The aforementioned Blake Lively is also pregnant with her second child. Olivia Wilde is expecting baby no. 2 with Jason Sudeikis, and Blac Chyna is pregnant with her second baby (this one with boyfriend Rob Kardashian). Tons of other celebs have also announced their pregnancies this year. They include Megan Fox, Ellie Kemper, Behati Prinsloo, and Hilaria Baldwin, to name a few.
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are parents to daughter Esmeralda, whom they welcomed in 2014. The couple has managed to keep the child out of the public eye for the most part, with only a couple of super rare photos of the child floating around the Internet. The photo posted below was taken in November 2015 and showed a 1-year-old Esmeralda trick-or-treating with her mom and dad.
