‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Aiden Returns With A Crazy Story, Illness Spreads Through Salem

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the coming week reveal it’s going to be full of drama. Now that May is officially upon us, fans can expect some pumped-up storylines as the race for sweeps ratings is on. This week, Aiden will be a hot subject for the soap.

Aiden Jennings is officially back on Days of Our Lives, and fans can’t wait to hear how he cheated death and where he’s been hiding out for the past six months since Bo seemingly killed him in Hope’s living room.

According to Soap Shows, Aiden will tell a crazy tale about where he’s been all these months, revealing that the DiMera family was behind his fake death and disappearance.

Days of Our Lives viewers will see Aiden tell Hope that Andre had him kidnapped and sent an evil doppelganger in his place. The doppelganger’s mission was to kill Hope on her wedding night to Aiden and collect her life insurance money to give to the DiMera family. However, his plan was foiled when Bo Brady came riding back into town to save the day, killing the lookalike, and leaving everyone to think Aiden was a malicious murderer. Hope will want to fingerprint Aiden to find out if he really is who he says he is, but his fingerprints have shockingly disappeared from the Salem police department’s database.

Hope will likely have a hard time believing Aiden’s story, but if it turns out to be true, and it probably is, she’ll have a tough choice to make. Will she rebuild a relationship with Aiden, the man she was meant to marry, or continue her relationship with Rafe, whom she’s grown very close to over the past weeks?

It will definitely be a dilemma for Hope, who will yet again be stuck in a love triangle with two men. Meanwhile, Aiden’s return will also have a huge impact on his son, Chase, who has been MIA after raping Hope’s daughter, Ciara, and losing all of his friends.

Of course, Days of Our Lives fans will get more than one shocking storyline during the month of May. Recently, it was revealed that Paul, Gabi, and baby Ariana have all come down with a mystery illness, and now it’s spreading through Salem.

The epidemic will start to roll over the citizens of Salem and even cause the hospital to be quarantined. People are expected to die from the illness, which is said to have been caused by John Black’s devilish father, Yo Ling.

Meanwhile, no big ratings push on Days of Our Lives would be complete without some quality Chad and Abigail scenes. As Abby fights her mental illness, Chad is struggling to be a single father who is missing his wife. When he brings the family to see her at the institution, she’ll tell him that she doesn’t want any more visitors, and it will break his heart that he can’t help her through her tough time.

Unfortunately, it looks like things are about to get worse for Chad, who will have to fight for custody of his own son when Abigail’s mother, Jennifer Horton, decides that she should be the one raising baby Thomas while her daughter is in the hospital seeking treatment.

While Jennifer would normally be a great choice to help raise Thomas, she’s dealing with her own issues of drug addiction and is currently not in any state of mind to be taking care of a child. Jen’s current situation will also bring back a fan-favorite Days of Our Lives character, when her late husband, Jack Deveraux, appears to her in her darkest moments.
