Anna Kendrick ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ At The BAFTA TV Awards

Anna Kendrick switched her hairbrush mic for an evening purse clutch tonight as she made her way to the BAFTA TV Awards. Kendrick also had Justin Timberlake pose on the red carpet with her at London’s Royal Festival Hall, where the ceremony took place.

While it seems like Kendrick and Timberlake make an unusual pair, these two are actually co-stars of the upcoming Dreamworks animation movie Trolls. The two stars are the voices of the lead characters in the film, which doesn’t come out until November this year.

Kendrick arrived at BAFTA TV Awards in a colorful sequined gown by Altuzarra, as shown on the BBC website. Kendrick kept the rest of her ensemble simple while letting her multi-colored dress shine. The actress had her hair in a sleek, simple ponytail, while wearing earring studs and a ring as her only accessories. Kendrick kept her makeup with a minimum amount of color, and completed her outfit with black, strappy heels.

Timberlake wore a navy suit with a crisp white shirt, and a black bow tie. He arrived alone, but paired up with Kendrick to pose for pictures on the red carpet before the ceremony began.

Timberlake has something to celebrate other than being a new father. The singer released the video for “Can’t Stop the Feeling” which is the new single that will be available on the Trolls soundtrack, and the first single that Timberlake released in a couple of years.

Anna Kendrick, along with other Trolls cast members, makes an appearance in the video. Kendrick is seen in the video dancing and singing with a hairbrush while the upbeat song plays.

James Corden, Gwen Stefani, and The Big Bang Theory Kunal Nayyar also appear in the video, dancing and lip-synching to Timberlake’s song. The video nearly has a million views on YouTube, and many people think that “Can’t Stop the Feeling” will be this summer’s catchy hit.

Kendrick is the voice of Princess Poppy, while Timberlake voices the Branch character. Stefani is the voice of DJ Suki; Nayyar plays Guy Diamond; and Corden is Biggie in the animated film.

The rest of the Trolls cast includes comedian Russell Brand, GloZell, John Cleese, Zooey Deschanel, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Quvenzhane Wallis, Ron Funches, and Christine Baranski.

Kendrick has many other projects in the works this year. Her latest film, Get a Job, had a limited theater and video on demand released in March. The film, also starring Miles Teller, was shot in 2012, but due to distribution issues, the movie didn’t get released until this year.

Anna Kendrick also had the film Mr. Right released earlier this month. Kendrick stars opposite Sam Rockwell, and she plays his character’s love interest. The film has received mixed reviews from critics.

Kendrick also signed on to star in The Accountant with Ben Affleck. The action thriller movie is set to come out on October 14.

Kendrick also has a movie coming out this summer. She will star Zac Efron, Aubrey Plaza, and Adam DeVine in the upcoming Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, which has a July 8 release date.

Kendrick will also star in Pitch Perfect 3, along with Rebel Wilson. The third installment of the comedy musical series originally had a July 12, 2017 opening, Universal decided to push the movie back to August 4, 2017, so that it can open without any other box office competition, according to Deadline.

Anna Kendrick will also release a book this coming November. The book is an autobiographical essay collection titled Scrappy Little Nobody, and will be published by Touchstone Books. The book will mention Kendrick’s experiences from the time she received her first Tony nomination at 12-years-old, to her rise in popularity in movies.

Trolls will be released on November 4, 2016. The movie’s soundtrack will be released on September 23.
