Jennifer Garner Changes Things Up On The Big Screen, Keeps Us Guessing About Relationship Status

Jennifer Garner is not only making changes in her personal life but also seems to be branching out when it comes to her role selections for films. The star has been in the middle of a media firestorm ever since she and estranged husband Ben Affleck announced their split last year. Over the past few months, the former couple has been keeping onlookers on their toes wondering if there is a possibility for a reconciliation.

At this point, it seems as though Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are keeping things amicable for the sake of their children, and recently, the need to be a part of the children’s lives as co-parents took the entire family to Paris for a getaway. Of course, the assumptions began that the couple is reuniting. This has yet to be verified and for now is simply a fabrication that so many would love to be the truth.

All these changes in her personal life seem to have carried over to Garner’s career as a leading lady. The typical films Garner chooses to star in involve happy, feel-good films. It’s rare to see Garner in any sort of dramatic role. She has, however, taken on action roles by teaming up with Ben in Daredevil so many years back. Let’s not forget Garner’s long-running role in the hit show Alias. However, Jen has taken a step in a whole new direction since the release of her religion-based film Miracles From Heaven. Jen’s latest project is dramatic and far removed from anything the beauty has been seen in, as the New York Post reports.

“Jennifer Garner’s latest movie, ‘Tribes of Palos Verdes,’ will see the actress explore a new persona. The movie is about two daughters who escape their mom (Garner), who’s having a nervous breakdown.”

Director Robbie Brennar noted the vast difference between Garner’s most recent role and that which she will play in her film.

“She [Jennifer] just finished a religious movie [“Miracles from Heaven”], and now she’s the worst mother of the year. It is an amazing shift in gears for her.”

The film will be sold at the Cannes Film Festival on May 11. A release date is yet to be determined. The project is one of many for Brennar that she has on-the-go at the moment. As the publication relays “She’s currently casting for the role of Winston Churchill for a World War II movie, ‘The Paladin.'”

Onscreen nervous breakdowns aside, Jennifer Garner is enjoying what appears to be a delightful holiday in Paris with her three children and former spouse, Ben Affleck. The Daily Mail gives details of the star’s demeanor and appearance on vacation.

“Jennifer Garner looked in true holiday mode as she enjoyed a glass of champagne during a jaunt along Paris’ River Seine following a spot of shopping with pals on Saturday. The 44-year-old actress looked simply stunning as she went for a low-key look for her trip around the City of Love in a basic jeans and T-shirt combination.”

Following the jaunt down the river with a glass of bubbly in hand, Jen and her kids continued their fun-filled day in the park. The family seems to be living it up Parisian style and all appear cheerful in one another’s company. Despite the media headlines and the nanny scandal late last year which took its toll on their family, as the publication indicates, Jen and Ben appear to be closer than ever since calling it quits.

“Jennifer and Ben have remained on friendly terms since they announced their split last June after 10 years of marriage however, the estranged spouses appear to look closer than ever as they were spotted on a family holiday in Paris.”
