Georgia Man Allegedly Runs Over Girlfriend With Truck, Killing Her And Their Unborn Baby

Henry County, GA – Brian Feltman was arrested after he allegedly ran over his pregnant girlfriend Megan Pope with a pick-up truck, killing both her and the unborn baby. Feltman, 27, is charged with both feticide and murder. Neighbor Damien Powers ran help after hearing Pope cry for help. Powers told Channel 2 News that Feltman informed him the victim was three months pregnant. Henry County law enforcement officers reportedly believe Megan Pope was four months pregnant.

Damien Powers also told the local news station that he believed Brian Feltman and Megan Pope had an argument and Feltman went out searching for her in his pick-up truck on Sunday morning. Megan Pope, 27, posted photos of her ultrasound scan on Facebook several weeks ago, the Daily Mail reports.

“She couldn’t wait to have a baby. They were having a reveal party next weekend to find out what the sex of the baby was. We were all prepared to go to her house and have the revealing party,” Lawrence Pope, the victim’s father, told Channel 2 News. “She was focused on becoming a mother.”

Henry County Police Major Jason Bolton reports Brian Feltman initially denied running Megan Pope over with his pick-up truck, Channel 2 News notes. According to Major Bolton’s briefing, Feltman allegedly told police officers that someone else had run over his pregnant girlfriend and he just found her body on the road in front of their home.

Physical evidence and witness statements collected by the Georgia police officers prompted them to believe that Brian Feltman intentionally ran over his girlfriend and unborn baby in his pick-up truck. Police officers also believe Feltman was drinking at a social gathering in Heron Bay before he allegedly used his pick-up truck as a weapon and ran over Megan Pope and the unborn baby.

    I await the news article that tells of a man by the name of Brian Felt, it being reported he was stabbed 460 times with a rusty spoon by his cell mate. who then ate him and took the biggest crap on the left overs. yes I know it is over the top. but it is much nicer than what I would do to him, I assure you.

    My wife has been pregnant three separate times. In each instance I have been more protective of her (and our unborn babies) than ever before. I just don't understand how in the world you can make a baby with somebody you presumably love (or at least loved at one time) and appear to be so happy about finding out the sex of the baby, just to kill them both. It just doesn't make any sense to me at all. Such a sad and senseless act by a worthless person. I hope he gets what's coming to him. Maybe while he's in prison he will learn what true justice is all about. They don't take too kindly to guys who murder women and children in those places.

    How can he be charged with feticide when Obama allows women to kill children up to and including delivery naturally? Doesn't make sense to me. I am glad its happening, but if he is charged with murdering a baby, seems to me every woman that has an abortion should also be held accountable, by other than God.

    Obama allows women to kill babies as they're being born? Abortions are actually not even legal after 16 weeks. I'm not saying it's right, just that "up to and including delivery naturally," if I'm reading that right, is not accurate.
