Angelina Jolie Not On A Hunger Strike Despite Reports, But Did Brad Pitt Cheat With Co-Star Marion Cotillard?

Angelina Jolie has been under a lot of fire lately regarding her weight loss. New rumors have indicated that Jolie is actually on a hunger strike to promote awareness of the plight of Syrian refugees. While the reports of Jolie’s hunger strike have been proven inaccurate, other problems in her marriage with Brad Pitt have surfaced.

According to Gossip Cop, reports stated that Jolie was on a hunger strike because many Syrian refugees were starving to death. Apparently, Jolie was willing to go to extreme lengths to increase awareness on the international issue.

“Angie’s trying to save the world, but she can’t seem to save herself,” a source shared. “She told us, ‘If they can’t eat, I can’t eat.'”

However, another inside source told the outlet that the hunger strike reports were “not true.” Although Jolie has worked tirelessly as a humanitarian, there is no evidence that she is starving herself for the sake of Syrian refugees.

Of course, the hunger strike rumors are closely tied to Angelina Jolie’s extreme weight loss. In recent months, Jolie has battled many rumors concerning her “scary skinny” appearance, including how her weight and health issues have affected her relationship with Pitt. In fact, the situation has gotten so bad that many fear the two will not last much longer if things continue down their current path.

While reports of marital woes between Pitt and Jolie continue to mount, Movie News Guide is reporting that Pitt may have cheated on Jolie with a co-star. Pitt is currently working with Marion Cotillard in the upcoming movie, Five Seconds of Silence.

The story is similar to the film where Pitt and Jolie first met, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. In Five Seconds of Silence, Cotillard plays a French spy during World War II who meets and eventually marries Pitt’s French-Canadian spy.

Crew members have noted a natural chemistry between the two stars, which has led some to believe Pitt and Cotillard have spent time together outside of filming the movie. While this has not been confirmed, the chemistry and emotional attachment they feel for their characters has led to jealousy on Jolie’s part.

In response to the cheating allegations, Hollywood Life is reporting that Jolie has turned to cigarettes and wine and refuses to eat a healthy diet. While the actress continues to waste away, Pitt has attempted everything he can to get her to start eating again. So far, his efforts have not paid off as Jolie continues her downward spiral.

“Brad has tried so hard to help her, but he’s exhausted by trying to care for someone who consistently refuses his help,” a source explained to the outlet.

Although it is unclear what is happening behind-the-scenes between Pitt and Jolie, the actress is making the most of her time in London. In fact, according to International Business Times, Jolie has created a close bond and friendship with a member of the British House of Lords, Arminka Helic.

“[Jolie] is readying herself for what could be a full-time commitment with the British government,” an insider pointed out.

Pitt and Jolie, along with the rest of their family, are currently living in London while Pitt works on Five Seconds of Silence. It isn’t known how long they will be in the U.K., though it seems likely that they will stay for quite a bit longer. Whether or not they can withstand the cheating rumors and keep their marriage in one piece is another matter.
