Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton’s Ex-Wife Miranda Lambert To Get Married On The Same Day?

Ever since Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton confirmed that they are dating, people can’t help but compare the 46-year-old singer to her boyfriend’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert. The 32-year-old singer was married to the Voice coach for four years, but they suddenly got a divorce last year.

After a few months, the “Little Red Wagon” singer started dating country musician Anderson East. Even though it’s less than a year that the former husband and wife found new love, there were reports that Blake’s new girlfriend and former wife are racing to the altar.

According to Hollywood Life, Gwen and Miranda are planning to get married on the same day. The two are reportedly eyeing July 4 as their wedding date. However, the No Doubt lead singer isn’t really happy sharing the spotlight with her boyfriend’s ex-wife.

“This is Gwen’s biggest nightmare,” an insider told Life & Style. “She will be livid if Miranda sends out invites for the Fourth. Gwen doesn’t want to share the spotlight with anyone – least of all, her groom’s ex-wife.”

The news site also reported that the “Make Me Like You” hitmaker wanted to ask the Pistol Annies member to change her wedding plans. Unfortunately, that may not happen, because Lambert thinks it is fun getting married on the same day.

“She is competitive by nature,” their source said. “She guarantees her nuptials will be a hell of a lot more fun.”

Stefani and Shelton’s ex-wife reportedly wanted to have a country-themed wedding. The “Used to Love You” singer wanted her nuptial to be held in Oklahoma, while the Texan singer wanted to tie the knot in Nashville.

Even though the ladies haven’t announced that they are engaged to their respective partners, there is still a possibility that they will tie the knot on July 4 since both don’t have a show on that day. According to Hollywood Life, Gwen and Blake are considering marriage first before having their own child.

“They are enjoying being together without the baby,” an insider revealed. “They would hope to be married before anything like that happened anyways.”

The lovebirds are currently busy with their careers, so there’s a chance that their wedding may still be moved. However, it seems that the Shelton is practicing to become the stepfather of Stefani’s three sons, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2.

Gavin Rossdale’s ex-wife wasn’t able to make it to the Kids’ Choice Awards, but two of her children were there to cheer on her boyfriend. Zuma’s fashion style seems to have been influenced by his future stepdad, as he was spotted wearing a denim vest, jeans, and cowboy boots.

“They adore Blake and are obsessed with the fact he’s hosting the Kids’ Choice Awards,” an insider told Us Weekly. “They think he’s so cool!”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton may not yet be married, but they are already acting like one big happy family. Miranda Lambert and Anderson East are also getting serious in their relationship. According to In Touch, the two are planning to announce their engagement soon and have been shopping for a ring.

“They are planning to get married before the end of the year,” their source said. “Miranda has even talked about a date in early fall, right after she finishes her extensive concert tour.”

Despite the heartache caused by her divorce, Lambert is still ready to take a chance on her new boyfriend. The singer allegedly doesn’t see the point in waiting, so it seems that she will tie the knot first to East just to spite her ex-husband.

“Miranda will absolutely get some satisfaction from beating Blake and Gwen to the altar,” an insider said.

It seems that the race is on, and fans are now waiting to see who will eventually get married on July 4 – will it be Team Miranda or Team Gwen?
