Gwen Stefani Opens Up About Blake Shelton, Are ‘The Voice’ Judges Planning A Summer Wedding?

It’s undeniable that Gwen Stefani has been happy ever since she got together with Blake Shelton. While Stefani went through an emotional divorce this past summer, her relationship with Shelton has proven to be life changing. With their relationship going stronger than ever, are The Voice judges preparing for an upcoming wedding?

Stefani opened up about her relationship with Shelton in a recent interview with People. The Voice star just released a new collection of eyewear as part of her fashion line, L.A.M.B., and attributed her new style to Shelton’s influence.

“My life has changed dramatically in the last year. I think that style definitely reflects your mood,” Stefani shared. “Maybe it’s a little more feminine right now.”

Stefani did not go into details about how her relationship with Shelton developed. However, she did explain how Shelton supported her through a rough time. As fans will recall, Stefani divorced Gavin Rossdale after she discovered he had been having an alleged long-term affair with their nanny.

“When you’re going through a really tough time, there are people that come in your life, like a friend that can help you get through things, and he’s definitely one of those people,” she told the outlet. “That’s it. I feel like, when it comes to my life, I can say so much already in my songs.”

Stefani and Shelton have not been afraid to display their affection in public. In their most recent sighting, Us Magazine is reporting that the couple arrived together for the Radio Disney Music Awards where Gwen Stefani took home the 2016 Hero Award for the event. While fellow The Voice judge Pharrell Williams handed her the award, Shelton gave her a sweet kiss right before her acceptance speech.

“I’m proud to be here tonight to present the 2016 Ardy Hero Award to not only someone I work with, recorded with, who I know, and what my brother, Blake Shelton, knows, truly has a heart of gold,” Williams stated as he presented Stefani with the award.

The No Doubt frontwoman is currently promoting her newest album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like. While her break-up with Rossdale has reportedly inspired many of the tracks on the album, Stefani’s relationship with Shelton has opened up her creativity and allowed her to write about difficult subjects.

“It’s so incredible to be in that zone. I’m always looking for the next song, and now I don’t have to be insecure or write about heartache,” Stefani said.

With Stefani and Shelton’s romance better than ever, it’s only a matter of time before the two exchange vows. Despite some recent rumors, Gossip Cop is reporting that Stefani and Shelton’s ex Miranda Lambert are not planning on tying the knot on the same day.

Rumors placed Stefani’s wedding with Shelton on July 4, which is when Lambert and her boyfriend Anderson East are reportedly getting married. In fact, an inside source explained how Stefani is unhappy with Lambert’s decision to have her wedding on the same day.

Shelton and Lambert were married for a number of years before calling it quits this past summer. Following their split, Lambert got together with East, and the two appear more than happy in their relationship.

However, an inside source told the outlet that the wedding reports were “nonsense.” In fact, neither Stefani nor Lambert have officially announced engagements, let alone set dates for their weddings.

At this point, it is still too early to tell if Stefani and Shelton are planning on walking down the aisle together. If their relationship continues to go strong, then fans can likely expect an engagement and wedding announcement sooner rather than later.
