Lisa Rinna Denies Going After Lisa Vanderpump To Secure ‘RHOBH’ Role

Did Lisa Rinna accuse Lisa Vanderpump of manipulating her into publicly linking Yolanda Foster with Munchausen syndrome simply because she was worried about her future on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hill? During Lisa R.’s appearance on Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday night, she addressed the charge that she went after Lisa V. in order to secure a spot on the Season 7 cast.

As viewers watched happen on Season 6, Lisa R.’s friendship with Lisa V. went down in flames after Lisa R. claimed that Lisa V. was the true culprit behind the Munchausen speculation. According to Lisa R., Lisa V. encouraged her to publicly question whether Yolanda had Munchausen syndrome rather than Lyme disease. Lisa R. also claimed that Lisa V. then tried to get her to bring Kyle Richards into the drama. Lisa V. has continued to vehemently deny Lisa R.’s accusations.

Did it all really happen, or did Lisa R. just make it up in order to make sure that she’s on next season’s cast? On Watch What Happens Live, Lisa R. maintained that she was just reacting to what really happened. Lisa R. said that she “could care less” whether she’s on next season.

“I could care less whether I have a part on the show next season. I’m there to do my job baby! My job is to be there and be authentic and be real and react to what’s going on in the moment.”

When another viewer pointed out that it’s easy for Lisa R. to use Lisa V. as a scapegoat since there’s no proof, Lisa R. countered that there is proof in the form of Kyle Richards, who admitted during the season and the reunion show that she warned Lisa V. not to drag her into the mess.

“Well there’s Kyle isn’t there?… She totally told her side of the story. I told my side of the story. That’s where she’s very clever. She does it off-camera.”

When a viewer asked Lisa R. if she regrets creating a season’s worth of drama by bringing up Munchausen syndrome, Lisa R. did admit that she regrets first bringing up Munchausen with Lisa V. and Kyle Richards rather than speaking about it first with Yolanda directly, either on or off-camera.

So where does Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump stand now? Lisa R. told Andy that she has had no contact with Lisa V. since the reunion show. She did reveal, however, that she and Lisa V. had a good moment, which wasn’t shown when the reunion show filming ended.

“We had a little moment at the end. It was off-camera. A good one.”

Yet it seems that despite the good moment at the end of the reunion show, Lisa V. has no plans on forgiving Lisa R. After Part 3 of the reunion show aired on Tuesday night, Lisa V. tweeted that she regrets that she didn’t tell some to “shove it.”

Lisa R. reacted to Lisa V.’s tweet by posting a riff of it.

Besides not being more forceful with her critics at the reunion show, Lisa V. may have another regret. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Lisa V. claimed in one of her blogs that Lisa R. sent her and Kyle Richards a “nasty tweet” about Yolanda Foster not attending New York Fashion Week to watch her daughters walk the runway. Lisa V. wrote that Lisa R. should be thankful that she never showed that tweet to Yolanda.

If both Lisa Vanderpump and Lisa Rinna do return for Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, will viewers hear more about the Munchausen drama? It seems that even Andy Cohen, who serves as executive producer of the Real Housewives franchise, is tired of it. In response to a viewer who said that she doesn’t want to ever hear the word “Munchausen” again, Andy said it’ll be retired after Lisa R.’s Watch What Happens Live appearance.
