Are Miranda Lambert And Anderson East Engaged And Planning A Wedding? They Have Big Summer Plans

Miranda Lambert and Anderson East appear to be completely happy with their relationship, but will they soon take the next step and tie the knot?

Although a new report claims Miranda Lambert is not only planning a wedding to her R&B singer boyfriend, but doing so on the exact same day that her ex-husband, Blake Shelton, and his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, are planning to wed, Gossip Cop claims the report is “nonsense.”

Instead, Miranda Lambert and East appear to be completely focused on their careers and will both be touring for the majority of the summer.

On May 3, Miranda Lambert took to Twitter, where she promoted her Keeper of the Flame Tour, which kicked off at the end of last month and continues through September, with a short video clip. On the same day, East was on Instagram promoting his new touring gig with the Dixie Chicks.

“Happy to announce that we’ll be joining @dixie_chicks on their upcoming summer tour,” East wrote to his fans and followers. “We couldn’t be more thrilled and honored to be sharing the stage with such talent. Hope to see you all out there.”

The Dixie Chicks have been touring the world for the last several months but starting in June, their shows will hit North America and East will be joining them for shows in June and July.

In addition to her current tour schedule, Miranda Lambert is also busy writing her new album.

After debuting her romance with East on the red carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards in early April, Miranda Lambert spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her future album.

“I’ve been off the road a little bit, so I’ve been able to kind of go into the creative mode, which is good,” the singer explained. “I’ve been in Nashville a lot, so I’ve really been able to write a lot with friends.”

“I’m not rushing trying to get a project done, just taking my time, enjoying it, going to see live music. Just kind of being in it,” Miranda Lambert continued. “Just getting creative. That’s what I do. That’s what I love the most.”

In the last year, Miranda Lambert has been on quite the roller coaster. After splitting from Shelton in July 2015 after just 4 years of marriage, the country singer was confronted with his highly publicized romance with Stefani. Then, weeks after Shelton and Stefani’s relationship debut, Miranda Lambert found love with East, and by January of this year, they confirmed the romance on Instagram.

“Whenever they are together they act like two free spirits…[Miranda Lambert] adores Anderson,” a source told E! News last month. “They understand each other. Anderson has given Miranda this confidence she hasn’t felt in some time. They are very supportive with each other and their careers.”

And while Miranda Lambert and East are going to be quite busy in the coming months, that isn’t to say they aren’t serious about their relationship. In fact, the source claimed the pair has already met each other’s families.

“Anderson and [Miranda Lambert] are serious,” the source continued. “They have met both sides of their families. Both their families love what they have. They seem like they are in such a great place. They spend so much time together. They are also very involved with Miranda’s animals. That’s a big part of her life and Anderson is a huge animal lover.”
