Inside Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala Meltdown, ‘KUWTK’ Star Furious At Kanye West Amid Divorce Rumors

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West decided to go all silver during this year’s Met Gala. However, despite taking to the red carpet together in their matching attire, reports indicate that Kardashian was furious at her husband for making her wear a Balmain dress. Is this another sign of their impending divorce?

Radar Online released photos of the event, and Kardashian did not appear happy walking alongside West in a silver clad gown. In fact, an inside source told the outlet that West made her wear the dress, and she was afraid everyone could react negatively.

“Kim was so furious last night that Kanye pressured her to wear that!” the insider told the outlet. “Kim said she felt like she was going to fail big time.”

Fortunately for Kardashian, her dress was met with a good reaction amongst critics. Even still, the source added that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is tired of following West’s lead, especially when it comes to her fashion decisions.

“She seems so sick of wearing Balmain and she is definitely sick of Kanye calling the shots for practically every single thing she does,” the source explained.

According to the International Business Times, this is not the first time West and Kardashian have argued over clothing. The couple reportedly had a similar argument during last year’s Met Gala.

Despite the reports, Kardashian explained some of the reasoning behind their fashionable decision this year. Although she admitted that Balmain was a good fit for her and West, she alluded to some hesitancy in going with the silver theme.

“I felt everyone was gonna go with [silver],” Kardashian shared. “I still really wanted to do it. I thought Balmain was the perfect choice for me and Kanye especially.”

While Kardashian and West looked tense on the red carpet, the New York Daily News is reporting that more drama took place behind the scenes. In fact, prior to their appearance at the Met Gala, West reportedly fired one of the family’s security guards who got a little too friendly with Kardashian.

Apparently, West had some beef with Steve Stanulis, a well-known bodyguard in the entertainment world. Although the details are slim, West had Stanulis cut from his team after he shared a few words with Kardashian outside of their hotel room.

“Something happened at the Waldorf Astoria where Kanye just lost it,” an insider at the hotel shared.

This is not the first time West and Stanulis have butted heads. A few months ago, the two got into a brief argument after West spotted him talking privately with his wife. Although nothing became of the incident, the recent firing indicates that more was going on behind the scenes than previously thought.

Stanulis has refused to comment on his beef with West, even though he was noticeably absent at the Met Gala.

“I’m a happily married man with three children and I have no comment,” he shared.

As far as West is concerned, one of his reps denied that any member of his team was fired.

“Untrue,” the rep stated. “No changes have been made to the security team.”

The security team drama and Kardashian’s arguments with West at the Met Gala follow rumors of a possible split for one of the most famous couples on the planet. That being said, Vogue named them the best-dressed couple during the event, and the two shared an interesting Snapchat video that indicates they had a good time together.

In the video, which was posted on Instagram, Kardashian stood alongside West and playfully introduced him as her new husband. She then licked West on the cheek, which broke his serious demeanor.
