Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Face Pregnancy And Engagement Rumors, Will They Get Married?

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton appear to be completely in love, but are they ready to make their relationship official and get married?

Gwen Stefani began dating Shelton at the end of last year after her split from Gavin Rossdale, and in the months since, the couple has been spending tons of time together in Los Angeles and in Shelton’s hometown and often times, Gwen Stefani’s children, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2, are with them.

Clearly, Gwen Stefani and Shelton are extremely serious about their relationship and when it comes to their future, multiple sources have spoken about an upcoming engagement.

In March, a source spoke to People Magazine, claiming Gwen Stefani and Shelton have a “longterm” future ahead of them.

“[Gwen Stefani] thinks of Blake as the biggest blessing,” a source close to the 46-year-old mother of 3 told the magazine. “They share both good life experience, like work, and bad ones, like their divorces.”

Just weeks before Gwen Stefani announced she was parting ways with her husband of 13 years, Shelton and his former wife, fellow country singer Miranda Lambert, revealed they were divorcing after 4 years of marriage. Weeks later, production got underway on The Voice Season 9 and Gwen Stefani and Shelton’s romance began.

After her split from Rossdale, “[Gwen Stefani] was questioning if she would ever meet someone that would accept her boys,” but Shelton “had no hesitation” when it came to bonding with Gwen Stefani’s sons and actually “loved it.”

As Gwen Stefani and Shelton’s relationship continues, the couple is “not putting pressure on themselves” and are “just enjoying life together,” but their friends feel a “longterm future” is imminent.

“They seem too perfect for each other for it to just be fluke,” the source added. “For now, they seem happy with their relationship, but Blake is old-fashioned and a future engagement seems very possible.”

One month after People Magazine‘s report, a source told Us Weekly that Shelton was ready to propose.

“Blake could propose to [Gwen Stefani] very soon,” a source close to Shelton explained to the magazine in April. “Gwen is everything he wants… With Gwen, Blake has the family life he’d hoped to have with Miranda.”

The source continued on, revealing Shelton was hoping for kids of his own, and despite being 46, said the source, Gwen Stefani “is willing to try!”

Gwen Stefani and Shelton’s relationship was highly documented on The Voice Season 9 and when the show returned to NBC for Season 10 earlier this year, Gwen Stefani, whose coaching role was filled by Christina Aguilera, was brought back to the show as an advisor for her boyfriend’s team.

In recent years, Gwen Stefani and Aguilera have been alternating seasons on the show, but when it comes to Season 11, Gwen Stefani is not going to be seen as a coach. Instead, both she and Aguilera will be moving on from the series, at least temporarily, as Stefani embarks on her This Is What The Truth Feels Like tour.

Meanwhile, Shelton is going to be busy in the coming months as well due to the upcoming release of his new album, If I’m Honest, and just as Gwen Stefani’s latest album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like, included many tracks about her new love with Shelton, Shelton’s album is expected to speak of Stefani, as well.

As for rumors of Gwen Stefani’s possible pregnancy, they do not appear to have any truth at this point.
