Ariel Winter Explains Why She Shares So Many Racy Photos Of Her Breasts

Ariel Winter underwent breast reduction surgery last year, and it’s pretty obvious that she’s thrilled with the results of the procedure. The 18-year-old star’s Instagram page is full of photos of her new cleavage, and Ariel sees nothing wrong with flaunting her body. In fact, she says that the amount of sexy selfies she takes is a sign that she’s mentally in a very good place.

On May 2, Ariel Winter showed up to the Modern Family ATAS Emmy Event wearing something that her frumpy Modern Family character, Alex Dunphy, wouldn’t be caught dead in. Ariel’s little black dress tightly hugged her curves, and it had an extremely low-cut top that put her cleavage on full display. Ariel gave her look a slight rock ‘n’ roll edge by wearing a pair of strappy high heels covered with tiny gold spikes.

On her Instagram page, Ariel Winter has shared numerous photos that show her rocking other dresses with similar daring scoop necks, as well as racy pictures of her post-surgery body in bikinis, lacy crop tops, and shirts with low-cut necklines. Entertainment Tonight talked to Ariel at the ATAs Emmy Event and asked her about the proliferation of revealing pictures on her Instagram page, and the actress explained that she’s sharing the photos because her body confidence is so high these days.

“I’ve been through a rollercoaster with myself definitely, growing up in the public eye,” Ariel said.

“But I think now as I’ve gotten older… I’ve had so many people around to help me learn to accept myself and that’s been really amazing for me.”

Ariel Winter began posting all of these racy Instagram photos after she underwent breast reduction surgery last June. Ariel told Glamour that she decided to go from a size 32F cup to a 34D because she was tired of all the focus on her curvy figure—she wanted to be known for her acting ability, not the shape of her body.

“Every article that has to do with me on a red carpet had to do with ‘Ariel Winter’s Crazy Cleavage!’ or ‘Ariel Winter Shows Huge Boobs at an Event!’ That’s all people would recognize me by—not, ‘Oh, she does great work on Modern Family,'” Ariel complained.

The actress also revealed that cruel internet bullies were damaging her self-esteem by making nasty comments about her curves.

“The Internet bullies are awful. I could post a photo where I feel good, and 500 people will comment about how fat I am and that I am disgusting,” Ariel Winter said.

Fear of their cruel taunts made her start to dread red carpet events, which were already a huge hassle for the teen. Ariel struggled to find gowns that were age-appropriate because formfitting designs were the only styles that looked good on her, and her decision to wear tight gowns with low-cut necklines was always met with criticism that she was dressing too mature for her age. The actress struggled to stand up straight and look confident for red caret photos, but Ariel Winter didn’t feel anything like the girl in those photos.

“I definitely seemed confident; I’m an actress, that’s what we do. But on the inside, I wasn’t feeling so happy,” Ariel said.

Now that Ariel Winter’s breasts are a few cup sizes smaller, she’s seemingly a bit more comfortable with her cleavage — she’s not letting those bullies scare her from wearing the clothing that she feels the most confident in. And now that Ariel is a little bit older, her signature style seems to be the same tight, cleavage-baring looks that she was afraid of wearing when she was underage.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Ariel Winter was even confident enough to show off her breast reduction surgery scars on the red carpet. Her estranged mother slammed her for “flaunting” the scars and deciding to get surgery at such a young age (Ariel was 17 when she went under the knife), but the Modern Family star told People she’s “extremely happy” with her decision.

“It was an instant weight lifted off my chest – both literally and figuratively,” Ariel said of her surgery.

“There’s a confidence you find when you finally feel right in your body.”

Ariel Winter feels so comfortable in her own skin that she even braved an ugly battle with body-obsessed internet bullies to defend Kim Kardashian’s famous curves. As E! News reports, Ariel commended Kim for “promoting body positivity” by posting a nude selfie on Instagram back in March. Kim faced a firestorm of criticism for daring to bare her body, but Ariel praised the reality show star for “being comfortable with herself.” The actress contended that curvy bodies like Kim’s are just as deserving of being celebrated as those of “stick-thin” women.
