'Bachelor' lovebirds Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell

Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell Hit The Friendly Skies Again: ‘Bachelor’ Stars Hit Florida After Texas Festival, What’s The Latest?

Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have rarely stayed in any one place for long since the finale of ABC’s The Bachelor 2016 season aired in March. They officially live together in Denver, Colorado now, but they have been racking up the frequent flyer miles by jetting all over the country together. They just spent the weekend in Texas, and now it seems they’re off to somewhere else. What are Ben and Lauren up to now?

Since their Bachelor finale aired, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have been to his hometown of Indiana twice, her hometown in Oregon, California, New York, Texas, and now it looks like they are adding Florida to the mix. Right on the heels of attending the iHeartCountry Festival in Austin, Texas over the weekend, Ben and Lauren headed to the Miami, Florida area.

As Ben and Lauren’s fans at the Bach and Bachette Fan Forums detailed, Bushnell posted a video on Snapchat indicating that they were in Miami. However, this threw many off a bit, given how they two had just been in Austin. Some digging on social media confirmed that Higgins and Bushnell are now in Florida, and it looks like they are attending a conference related to his work.

Prior to filming the Bachelorette season with Kaitlyn Bristowe and his own Bachelor season, Higgins worked as an account manager for Talisys, a financial services software supplier. Ben obviously took a lot of time off from his day-to-day job for filming and commitments to the show, but he had recently detailed that he would be going back to his job once the dust settled after the finale.

It seems that Ben is indeed back at work and Talisys does happen to have a conference taking place this week at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach. It looks like Ben is attending the conference for work and brought Lauren along for some fun. Bushnell has shared a few quick glimpses of their Miami trip via Snapchat where she is embracing umbrella drinks and the beach while she has the opportunity.

What other trips do Ben and Lauren have slated? They have made some references to other upcoming adventures in various interviews, but they have also made it clear that they are dedicated to building their life together in Denver. Higgins and Bushnell said in a brief interview with Premier Austin radio that they are currently focusing on making their house a home together and letting Lauren get comfortable in Denver.

The lovebirds said that wedding planning will get rolling soon, and they are embracing the opportunity to enjoy dating and being engaged. The Bachelor stars have been consistent in other recent interviews in saying that planning their wedding will officially be starting sooner rather than later, but everybody will have to stay tuned to see when specifics start to come together.

It seems that Ben and Lauren are already making plenty of plans for additional excursions. During that brief interview in Texas, they mentioned heading to Vail soon. Some Bachelor fans noted that Higgins mentioned having friends in Beaver Creek who invited them to visit for a bit. Could this upcoming trip be an opportunity to hang out with Ryan and Trista Sutter perhaps? Lauren and Trista have been buzzing on social media about getting some time together, and fans would love to see this happen.

Even some of the most jaded “Bachelor Nation” fans are loving Ben and Lauren these days and are rooting for them to beat the odds as a couple. Higgins and Bushnell may not have a wedding date set yet, but fans are watching for updates and hope that they do indeed end up getting married. Do you think Bachelor stars Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell will eventually tie the knot? Next up for the franchise is JoJo Fletcher as ABC’s The Bachelorette 2016 lead, and her season begins on Monday, May 23.
