Protestors In New York Join March To Protest Iran’s Post-Election Violence

New York, NY (AHN) – Hundreds of protest rallies against Iran’s internal policies are taking place in cities across the United States and world Saturday.
Marchers in New York were preparing to begin moving toward United Nations headquarters there shortly after 2 p.m. EDT, according to live televised reports being broadcast on CNN.
Some protestors in New York, and elsewhere, reportedly say they want to move Iran toward a democracy in the hope of avoiding a nuclear-armed Iran.
Hundreds of people in Berlin and Hamburg, Germany had demonstrated against Iran earlier Saturday.
Protestors across the U.S. and the globe are calling for an end to the violence and suppression that Iranian government officials have directed at civilians since the June 12 presidential election led to charges of fraud.
