Kylie Jenner Left Scratched & Bleeding After Attending The 2016 Met Gala

Kylie Jenner was left scratched and bleeding after attending the Met Gala on May 2.

Jenner took to Snapchat following her appearance at the prestigious Met Gala in New York City to show off her fashion battle scars, which the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star revealed occurred as a direct result of her stunning, but painful, silver Balmain gown.

Kyle Jenner Instagram fan account @kylizzlesnapchats posted a slew of Jenner’s post-Met Gala snaps to Instagram, where Jenner gave fans a glimpse at her numerous scratches and bruises on her feet and legs that were likely caused by her Met gown’s sharp sparkles and her sky-high heels.

“When your dress made you bleed and your feet are purple,” Kylie captioned one of the snaps uploaded to Instagram, which showed scratches all over Jenner’s right shin while her left foot appeared to be swollen and discolored after spending hours in heels at the high-fashion Gala.

But despite her fashion battle wounds, Kylie revealed in another post uploaded to her Snapchat account on May 3 that there was definitely no gain without a little pain.

Jenner then posted an after Met selfie to the social media app in the early hours of May 3 after dancing the night away at the Met Gala after parties, admitting in the text that all the pain “was worth it though.”

Kylie Jenner’s big night out at the Met Gala with family members Kendall Jenner, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West comes just days after the reality star caught some pretty serious heat on social media after she revealed in a new interview with Glamour magazine that she felt she was an “inspiration” for young girls.

Speaking out during a cover feature for the June issue of the British edition of the women’s monthly magazine, Jenner spoke out about being a business woman and admitted that she hasn’t relied on her mom, Kris Jenner, financially in years.

“I haven’t had a dollar of my mom’s money for five years. Ever since I started earning my own money, I’ve paid for everything: all my cars, houses, clothes, everything,” Kylie recently told the magazine. “I like to know exactly what’s going on and I’m actually quite careful with what I spend. We all are as a family.”

Jenner then went on to tell the publication that she considers herself to be a feminist and an “inspiration” for young girls all over the world.

“I do consider myself a feminist. I’m a young woman, for one thing, and I don’t depend on a man or anybody else,” Kylie confessed in the June issue of the magazine. “I make my own money and start my own businesses, and I feel like I’m an inspiration for a lot of young girls who want to stand on their own.”

Kylie’s remarks about being an “inspiration” caused a whole lot of drama online, with a number of Twitter users taking serious aim at Jenner for her claims.

“She has a platform [because] Kim [Kardashian] had sex on camera & got a tv show out of it,” Twitter user @senoritav76 hit back at Jenner on the social media site last week. “Forgive me if I don’t think she’s the new Gloria Steinem.”

“F****** comical,” @Mrskatiehiggins added on Twitter after Kylie’s Glamour interview hit the web. “She couldn’t be an inspiration if she let her lips deflate and educated herself. Give me a break.”

Twitter user @Jemstarr79 also took serious aim at Kylie on the 140-character site, tweeting out that her claims that she’s an “inspiration” for young women “sound like that of an arrogant teen who believes the world revolves around her need for attention!”
