Katie Holmes And Jamie Foxx ‘Spending Millions’ On Wedding Venue [Report]
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are said to be spending tons of money on their allegedly upcoming wedding.
While the rumored couple has not yet confirmed their romance, a new report claims they will be getting married in Michigan “soon” after years of dating in secret, and after they do, they could be relocating to the northern state with Katie Holmes’ 10-year-old daughter with Tom Cruise, Suri Cruise.
“It is rumored that [Katie Holmes] and Foxx will be tying the knot on her ancestral home which is located on the shores of Devils Lake,” Movie News Guide reported on May 3. “The house [is] under renovation and the couple is likely to stay there after wedding with Holmes’ doting daughter Suri Cruise.”

“Katie will always remain loyal to her roots in Toledo, Ohio, and she’s pouring millions into renovating her vacation house,” an insider told Radar Online in April, revealing the home is where Katie Holmes hopes to “get married.”

According to the report, the home is “officially for [Katie Holmes’] parents,” but after the home renovations are complete, the property is expected to be perfect for an A-list celebrity wedding.
“[Katie Holmes] is turning it into a self-contained secure retreat and she plans on spending a lot more time there in the future with Jamie and her daughter Suri,” claimed the insider. “She loves that house and there’s no doubt her obsession with the Kennedys has influenced the design and plans for this the house. It will be the perfect place for a wedding.”
Katie Holmes and Foxx were first faced with dating rumors in 2013 after they were spotted dancing together at a party in The Hamptons. Months later, Page Six claimed Katie Holmes flew to Foxx’s Los Angeles home around the time of the 2014 Grammys and a short time later, they reportedly celebrated Super Bowl weekend together in New York City.
At the time, the report claimed Katie Holmes and Foxx were choosing to keep their romance secret due to their respect for Cruise. As fans of Cruise may recall, he and Foxx starred alongside one another in 2004’s Collateral.
A New Year’s Eve trip to Miami was also mentioned.
According to a separate report by Wonderwall, things between Katie Holmes and Foxx got serious in 2015, when she reportedly told him, “I love you.” In September of that year, Katie Holmes reportedly wore a disguise during a secret rendezvous with Foxx in Los Angeles. As Us Weekly revealed at the time, Katie Holmes sent her daughter to Los Angeles with a nanny as she and Foxx enjoyed some alone time with one another.
At the same time, the magazine claimed Katie Holmes was in love with Foxx and committed to their relationship, while it was unclear whether or not he was seeing other women.
“[Katie Holmes] is so in love,” the magazine’s source said. “I don’t know if he’s dating other women, but she isn’t dating other men. She is all about Jamie. She said she loved him. She always gushes about how amazing he is and the joy he brings into the world.”
Despite their alleged feelings for one another, Katie Holmes and Foxx have continued to stay silent about their romance, but recently debuted new rings on their fingers. Earlier this year, both Katie Holmes and her rumored boyfriend, or possibly her fiancé, stepped out wearing similar bling on their wedding ring fingers, which seemed to be linked.
