‘Dance Moms’ Spoilers: Maddie Ziegler And Her Family Say Goodbye To The ALDC On ‘One Last Dance’

Dance Moms spoilers for Tuesday’s show detail that this will be an emotional one that fans will not want to miss. This episode serves as the mid-season finale, and there are some grand farewells on the horizon. What can everybody expect from the May 3 episode?

As TV Guide details, the Season 6, Episode 18 show is titled “One Last Dance.” Maddie Ziegler, Mackenzie Ziegler, and Melissa Gisoni are about to leave the series, and viewers will be seeing Maddie and Mackenzie’s last performances with the Abby Lee Dance Company team for the Lifetime series. While many of the mothers and girls will be emotional over these moments, Dance Moms spoilers tease that Abby Lee Miller will be turning more and more of her attention to her new mini team, a move that is sure to tick off those with the elite team.

Previous Dance Moms spoilers had indicated that there was an emotional farewell held during Maddie and Mackenzie’s last competition, and viewers will see parts of that during Tuesday’s episode. Melissa will be up on stage sharing some heartfelt words, and it looks like there will not be a dry eye in the house. While there are other dancers who have left the series and the ALDC before the Zieglers, this departure is obviously one that will make a significant impact.

Reports indicate that both Maddie and Kenzie will have solos during this next competition. However, Dance Moms spoilers tease that things get tense when Abby has one of her mini dancers do a solo against Mackenzie. Apparently, this decision to give Areana a solo with the Ziegler departures ahead leads other mothers in the group to feel slighted, worrying that Miller is bailing on her elite team and putting her focus on the mini team.

Melissa is said to be upset by Abby’s decision regarding Mackenzie and Ari’s solos and Dance Moms spoilers detail that the other mothers will encourage her to confront Abby over the issue. However, Gisoni will resist talking to Miller about her feelings, and someone else ends up taking the brunt of Melissa’s frustrations. While viewers will have to tune in to see how this one plays out, teasers suggest that this Ziegler departure will end up being fairly shocking in some way.

If things end on a bad note between Melissa and Abby, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time that tension hung in the air as a family left the series. Viewers will remember the fierce fight that led to Kelly Hyland and her daughters Brooke and Paige leaving the show and an intense confrontation paved the way for Christi and Chloe Lukasiak’s departure as well. It appears that Maddie and Mackenzie’s farewell will go more smoothly, but it looks like fans will need to have tissues handy.

As for the competition, Dance Moms spoilers from the “dancemomsspoilers_” Instagram account indicate that the elite team has a fantastic group performance. They are said to all work together on a hip-hop piece called “Lady Bosses,” and they earn first place in both the teen and overall divisions. Maddie’s solo is called “The Hostage,” and she reportedly earns first place in both the teen and overall divisions while Mackenzie’s piece titled “Hero” nabs first place in the junior group.

When it comes to the mini dancers, they are said to do a group performance named “Kisses” that earns first place in the mini division and the mini girls have two solos during the competition as well. Areana is said to do a lyrical piece called “For My Brother” that garners first place in the mini division while Elliana’s “Chameleon” gets second place.

Viewers of the Lifetime show are sad to see Maddie and her family leave, but fans know that she has numerous projects on the horizon. Ziegler will be one of the judges on the next season of So You Think You Can Dance? and both Ziegler girls have other projects in the works as well. How will the show fare without this family in the mix? Viewers will be curious to see how the dynamics change, as they surely will in the episodes ahead. There is a reunion show set to air on May 10 and then a bit of a break before Season 6 kicks back into gear again with additional new episodes.
