Was Khloe Kardashian Forced To Kick Lamar Odom’s Father Out Of His Home?

Khloe Kardashian has reportedly evicted Lamar Odom’s father, Joe, from his Los Angeles apartment in a bid to organize her estranged husband’s finances.

The 31-year-old reality star was unamused to find out that Joe has been living lavishly in a $4,000-a-month apartment with his 59-year-old wife, Cecelia.

Khloe is enraged because of the fact that Lamar hasn’t been playing basketball professionally since 2013. Odom spent hundreds of thousands of dollars when his drug habit worsened throughout 2015, which saw him lose a fortune as far as his financial state was concerned.

Money was being spent on brothels, hotels, countless women, expensive gifts, and then, of course, the expensive bills for Joe and his wife.

Joe has now responded to the claims that Kardashian has kicked him out of his expensive home, confirming the news by stressing that Khloe didn’t even reach out to him to let him know what her plan was. Instead, she allegedly had his son’s team handle it.

“Khloé didn’t even have the guts to tell me herself that my rent wasn’t going to be paid anymore. She got the guys who handle Lamar’s money to call me and they said the rent wouldn’t be paid, I gotta move and my phone was going to get cut off.”

It is unclear where Joe and his wife have now relocated to, but Khloe Kardashian is unbothered by their situation seeing how distraught Lamar Odom was after finally gaining consciousness following his overdose back in October.

Her main concern was to get Lamar in a position where he could make decisions on his own again, and when one had piled up the costs of Odom’s living expenses, Khloe reacted the best way she knew how — remove any further payments that she deemed as unnecessary.

As documented on Khloe Kardashian’s previous reality show Khloe & Lamar, several episodes showed how Joe would infamously call his son just for the sake of hoping his basketball star of a son would give more money or a new pair of sneakers.

Following Lamar’s return from the hospital, Khloe Kardashian had already set up a home for the 36-year-old in Calabasas, so that if Lamar would ever need anything, she is only minutes away from his house. That payment in itself was in the six-figure zone, and Khloe knows that Lamar can’t afford to be spending money like he used to.

With the likes of Kobe Bryant retiring at the age of 37, it is unlikely that Lamar will ever play basketball in the NBA again, especially since he’s still recovering from the overdose, allegedly attending endless treatment courses every week.

Fans have sided with Khloe Kardashian following the news of Joe Odom’s eviction, stressing that there is nothing stopping Joe from getting a job and working for his own money.

Sources say that Lamar has supported his father for more than 10 years, giving Joe no reason not to have done something else other than spend the cash that Odom has provided him with throughout the years.

Now that Lamar is trying to get back to his normal state, Khloe Kardashian wants to make sure that his finances are balanced out so that when Odom is in a position to make responsible decisions for himself again, there’s enough money left for him to spend wisely this time.
