‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Elizabeth Returns, Anna Reaches Her Breaking Point, And Trouble At The PCPD
General Hospital will begin May sweeps this week. Several different storylines have been set in motion for this huge ratings period, including the return of several fan-favorite characters. The Nurses Ball will be airing at the end of the month, along with some surprises fans will not be expecting. General Hospital writers have been working hard to give the fans what they want, especially after things went downhill last year.
This week is going to focus a lot on elaborating what was put into motion last week on General Hospital. The Franco (Roger Howarth) and Nina (Michelle Stafford) break-up was one that really resonated with fans. Both actors have amazing chemistry with one another, leaving the scenes were emotionally gripping. The rage that fills Franco has put him into a dark place, and he will be giving Nina something that is disturbing. Could it be the drawing fans were shown last week? There has been some chatter about possibly pairing Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) with Franco. He will be talking to someone about his emotional situation this week, and according to Celeb Dirty Laundry, this is the week that Elizabeth returns to work. Could this be a new pairing in the works? Anything is possible on General Hospital, and now that Franco is going back to his old ways, fans are eager to see where this goes.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is starting to feel the brunt of defending Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise). She initially did this for Julian (William deVry), but with all of the backlash she is getting from her loved ones, Alexis wonders if this was the right thing to do. She has no idea that her husband is back in the mob, but it appears that General Hospital writers plan to change that soon. According to We Love Soaps, Alexis will confront Julian this week in an incredulous manner. Sonny (Maurice Benard) has the idea in his head that Julian is back in the mob, but is he the one who whispers it in Alexis’ ear? This could be the demise of the couple, which could send some General Hospital fans reeling.
After being granted bail, Anna (Finola Hughes) reaches a breaking point. She has been torturing herself over killing Carlos for months only to find out he was alive. General Hospital writers have rewritten this storyline several times over and over, but it looks like things are finally settled. Because Carlos is alive, Anna has to make a decision on what she plans to do if he goes free. With Alexis defending him and Michael (Chad Duell) contemplating helping him in order to find Sabrina (Teresa Castillo), his disappearance again is inevitable. Anna will be confronting Alexis this week, as well, and it won’t go over well. General Hospital writers are finally pitting two powerhouse women against one another, and fans are excited to see how this will play out on the show.
Several relationships are in limbo on General Hospital right now. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) is still looking into Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) past marriage, which could cause a lot of issues. There is said to be some trouble at the PCPD toward the end of the week, and fans believe it may have to do with Nathan and what happened with Claudette. Last week, he confided in Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) that Maxie still wants more information. His mother reminded him that if the truth got out, it could ruin his career and he agreed. Is this where Griffin (Matt Cohen) fits in? Was he the man who Claudette was cheating with and did Nathan shoot him? Hopefully, many of this questions will be answered on General Hospital in the upcoming weeks.
