Mariah Carey: Her Latest Wedding Details Revealed, The Diva Not Slowing Down As Nuptials Approach

Mariah Carey has been one busy diva. The 46-year-old is not only a mother-of-two and a successful Vegas performer, but she’s also traveling constantly for her “Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour” which has recently landed her in South Africa. All this and Carey still has time to plan her wedding to billionaire James Packer.

Packer proposed to the superstar three months ago, and ever since, Carey has been sure to sport the massive 35 carat sparkler the business tycoon anchored her finger with. The singer is clearly smitten with her beau and soon-to-be-hubby, and Mariah has started to share details about the upcoming nuptials.

This marks the third time down the aisle for both Mariah and James. Because of this fact, Carey has stated that she is set on planning a more conventional wedding. Surely, it will still be a lavish and extravagant occasion. Come on! It is Mariah we’re talking about. However, surprisingly enough, Carey recently revealed to E! News that she is being rather “normal” about this wedding.

The singer went on to say, “I’m just going with whatever I like.” Fans know that this bride-to-be is all about the glamour and her gown is sure to be a show-stopper. Carey divulged details about the dress, although the star has remained fairly tight-lipped. Brides.com shares the singer’s words.

“I tried my dress last night. It looks good. They came and brought it… I can’t say the people. I can’t say their names. The fabulous designer house that’s amazing.”

Carey shared that members of the fashion house brought the dress to be fitted during her Parisian leg of her world tour. “Fabulous” sounds more like an adjective fitting to the songstress, wedding, and dress, as opposed to “conventional.”

Along with her dress,Carey’s soon-to-be-husband also made the trip to Paris. The couple spent five days together in the city of love and Mariah has also had the company of her twin 4-year-old children Moroccan and Monroe. Carey shares that her kids love traveling with her.

“They love it. They want to go on the airplane. If we stay somewhere too long, they don’t really like it. They’re travelers.”

While the diva is touring Europe and South Africa, cameras are rolling for the upcoming reality show that Mariah will, of course, star in. The eight-part docu-series will follow the life of the diva while on tour and will fittingly be called Mariah’s World.

As E! notes, Mariah will get a short break between her world tour and her start back to her Vegas residency, which will resume on June 7.

In other diva news, Mariah Carey and superstar Queen Bey may be officially collaborating together! The two powerhouse vocalists would certainly lay down a fantastic track if they joined forces and all signs are pointing to this being fact.

Hip Hop DX shares the evidence that certainly suggests a project that is in the works between Mariah and Bey.

“According to an Instagram post uploaded to video director Diane Martel’s private account, she has something in the works with superstar songstresses Mariah Carey and Beyonce. ‘Working with these two on something special can’t wait to show u all!,’ Martel wrote in the caption to a photo of Beyonce and Mariah Carey.”

Martel has been director behind a number of videos put out by both of the superstars, including Mariah’s video for “Dream Lover,” and Bey’s video for “Best Thing I Never Had.” The director would definitely be accurate about the inside scoop and happenings between the two heavy-hitting talents.

Official word about the collaboration has yet to be made, but fans most definitely have their fingers crossed that this is a go.
