Iggy Azalea Sheds Some Skin, Calls Herself A Bad Role Model

While Iggy Azalea is still causing controversy on social media, the Australian rapper has been actively promoting her sophomore release, Digital Distortion.

Iggy Azalea tried to make fans forget about the racist comments she made about Beyoncé’s new visual album, Lemonade. She took to Twitter to reveal her hot new photo shoot for #legend magazine. In a series of tweets, Azalea shared some sizzling photos of herself by the pool as she wears some stylish bikinis.

In addition to the photos that Iggy shared, the luxury magazine took to Twitter to share two special May, 2016, covers of the blonde beauty. The covers show the “Team” rapper sporting a short and sexy silver dress and a black bondage-style bathing suit.

There’s even more from Iggy Azalea’s sizzling photo shoot. The 25-year-old pop star showed off her killer curves in a variety of sexy summer outfits. In one of the photos, Azalea leans up against a wall as she wears nothing but a navy blue-striped crop top and white string bikini bottoms. In another, she’s seen stepping out of the pool in a tiny white bikini with gold straps.

The rapper also slips into a sexy sleeveless black dress with revealing cutouts at the sides. Not only did Iggy shed some serious skin for the publication, but she also was candid about being a role model and her upcoming album. Since Iggy is notorious for speaking her mind on Twitter, she was asked her thoughts on social media.

“I feel like I would have no problem with technology if I could use it without having everything I say on it turned into an article for somebody to write and in turn for somebody else to read. I think if I was just a normal person using social media, I would have Snapchat, but I feel like I need to have a disconnect to be sane.”

When it comes to being a role model for younger fans, Azalea believes she does a horrible job at it. The reason is because of her profanity-laced lyrics on her debut album, The New Classic. However, Azalea did add that she would allow her future children listen to her music.

“As a role model, I don’t think I’m a great one. But I would let my child listen to my music and I think I’m a cool person. I think I have a good message. I do consider what I do now knowing there are younger people watching and there are things I wouldn’t do on stage anymore that I used to do. But I don’t sit in the studios wondering what somebody’s mom would say about my lyrics.”

Speaking of new music, Iggy says that the Spice Girls were the inspiration for her forthcoming album. So, expect Digital Distortion to have a ’90s feel to it. Some fans have been wondering if Iggy’s new album will feature some girl-power anthems.

“This is funny but I really like the Spice Girls and I did think about them a little bit when writing this album. One thing I liked was that they would incorporate made-up words like ‘zig-a-zig-ah’ and leave the meaning open to the listeners. I considered that when writing lyrics, caring not as much what the words mean most of the time but leaving the words open to interpretation.”

The songstress also revealed on Twitter that she’s working on a new song with Kesha, who’s in the middle of a legal battle with Dr. Luke. Responding to a question as to whether the song will be on her new album, Azalea responded: “Not sure if it will be on my album or not but we are def doing things!!!”

DJ Zedd just announced that Kesha will be featured on his new single “True Colors,” which will drop this coming Friday.

Iggy Azalea is hoping that her new project will release later this year, in correlation with her upcoming tour.
