Iggy Azalea Saves Nick Young From Tattoo Disaster

Iggy Azalea stepped in at just the right time to stop Nick Young, her future husband, from getting a very regrettable tattoo on Wednesday. The New York Post reports that Iggy Azalea, 25, walked in half way through Young’s tattoo session to find that an embarrassing spelling mistake was about to be etched onto his back for life.

The 30-year-old Los Angeles Lakers guard, who frequently finds himself in the headlines for the wrong reasons both inside and outside of basketball, was hoping to get the words “Born Rebel” tattooed across his back. However, spelling is clearly not his forte, as Iggy Azalea’s fiancé was about to get “Born Reble” tattooed instead.

This is something that the tattoo artist had not picked up on either, evidently. Iggy Azalea took to Twitter to tell of the close call, entertaining her six million followers with her story.

“Guys, I wanna let you know. Nick cant spell and if it wasnt for the LOVE i have for him. He would have ‘BORN REBLE’ tatted across his back

“I came in half way thru his tattoo and noticed ‘BORN REBEL’ looked different to the way i remember it

“He really is lucky i mentioned it to him, I was gonna be petty and not say.”

According to the Daily Mail, Iggy Azalea has previously opted to have painful laser removal surgery and a strategic cover up of a tattoo on her right wrist, so it seems that Azalea knew the consequences of regrettable tattoos and felt the need to step in to save Young.

The pettiness that she referred to in the tweet could refer to the recent news that rocked Azalea and Young’s engagement. The Inquisitr previously reported that the footage of Young admitting to cheating on Iggy Azalea was leaked by his Lakers teammate D’Angelo Russell. Following on from this, many women came forwards afterward and claimed that Young had also slept with them behind Iggy’s back.

Speaking on The Orlando & The Freakshow, Iggy Azalea threatened to cut off Young’s manhood if any other stories of infidelity emerged, via Page Six.

“I already said one more video, just one more thing and you will lose a quarter of your meat.

“I’m not cool with it… Like you’ll have half a penis.”

The fact that Iggy Azalea stepped in and stopped Young from making this mistake in the tattoo parlour, and stating the love she has for him in one of the tweets, suggests that perhaps the engagement is not in as much turmoil as previously thought.

It is not just for her rocky engagement to Nick Young that Iggy Azalea has found herself in the headlines recently, as the rapper also created quite a stir on Tuesday, April 26. This was with comments which seemed to suggest that she found Beyonce racist in her song “Sorry” from her recent release, Lemonade. The Belfast Telegraph states that Azalea commented that “Becky,” as used in Beyonce’s song, is a “racist” term used to describe a stereotypical white girl. After creating a backlash, Iggy Azalea took to Twitter the following day to clarify her comments and state that she does not think that Beyonce is racist.

“No i dont think Beyonce is racist nor do i think calling someone “BECKY” is the same as a racial slur. I actually like her and the project

“BUT, no i dont think its great to use stereotypical names to describe ANY race. I think we can all agree on that.”

It has certainly been a busy week for Iggy Azalea, but fortunately for Nick Young, she was on hand and in a good mood when he visited the tattoo parlor without double checking his spelling.
