Luann de Lesseps Says Carole Radziwill Is Chasing Her With A Hatchet

Luann de Lesseps decided to show up to Bethenny Frankel’s birthday party without getting an invite. Bethenny hadn’t invited Luann, but she felt it was quite alright to show up without an invitation. de Lesseps knew that Carole Radziwill didn’t want to see her, and she did try to avoid her throughout the party. And while Luann clearly has her own issues with Carole, she does think that John Mahdessian took the wrong approach with Bethenny Frankel.

According to a new Bravo report, Luann de Lesseps is now sharing her advice to John about how he should have handled Frankel. Of course, Luann does have her own experience with Frankel, as the two have fought before. During New York Fashion Week, Bethenny called Luann de Lesseps a snake, and she thought that de Lesseps was fake. And maybe Luann has learned a thing or two about Frankel over the years.

“John seemed pretty resigned that apologizing to Bethenny was non-negotiable to Dorinda. He was nervous because Bethenny can become bombastic when she’s arguing. A conversation with her can go from zero to 100 in under 10 seconds and that is why John’s first attempt didn’t go over well. John’s approach was totally off. He should know by now that Bethenny isn’t really interested in what he has to say. Again, parties work best when your guests are there to have a good time, not dredge up the past or settle differences,” Luann de Lesseps points out in her blog for The Real Housewives of New York.

Of course, Luann de Lesseps wasn’t there for the bra party, where John decided to attack Bethenny. But one can imagine that Luann watched the episode and was shocked at how he came to the party and started accusing Frankel of stealing business ideas. He also told her that she was jealous of their relationship because she couldn’t keep a man herself.

But Bethenny Frankel did bring up a good point — she could have a boyfriend if she wanted to settle for someone like John. Bethenny has dated several guys when she wasn’t filming The Real Housewives of New York and it is possible that she’s just looking for the perfect guy.

Luann de Lesseps has her own issues, but not with a man. Luann was very rude to Carole last year, as Radziwill started dating Luann’s personal chef, Adam Kenworthy. de Lesseps didn’t like that they dated and she had plenty of reasons why she wasn’t happy. But now, almost a year later, she’s trying to make peace with Carole.

“If Carole doesn’t like the way I make an entrance, she should stay home. Instead she talked about me behind my back and was a huge downer. I was completely ready to make up and move forward, but Carole will not let go of an argument that lost its relevancy a year ago! Old news! Instead of burying the hatchet, I felt like Carole was chasing me with one. Yet, in spite of our disagreement, you can see that we agreed to be cordial to one another even if we aren’t going to be friends,” Luann de Lesseps explains in her blog.

Carole has revealed that she doesn’t want to put Adam and Luann de Lesseps in the same room together. But one can imagine she would appreciate an apology, even though they don’t really have a future relationship to work on. de Lesseps was accused of saying harsh things to Carole, but she argued that the author had written harsh words to her as well.
