Lemonade is currently only available to stream on Tidal, the music streaming service Beyoncé’s husband Jay Z owns. According to Tidal, Lemonade is “based on every woman’s journey of self-knowledge and healing.”
The album, as New York Times reports, consists of 12 tracks featuring several contributors, including Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Jack White, and other artists.
Soon after its release, #lemonade was trending on Twitter, as well as other social media sites, with fans of Beyoncé praising her latest masterpiece. Of course, other celebrities joined in and shared what they thought of Queen Bey’s latest album.
Dust to side chicks. Middle fingers up. Serena werking. (If I needed anything after this week, it is Bey.)

One other showbiz personality who showed appreciation for Queen Bey’s Lemonade is Princess Diaries star Anne Hathaway. But unlike the other celebrities who tweeted their praise to Beyoncé, Hathaway chose a different route.
As CBS News reports, Anne Hathaway posted her reaction to Lemonade on Instagram with a short video and shared it to her 3.5 million followers.
In the video, Anne is seen sporting dark sunglasses and a collared top. She takes a deep breath and raises her left hand where a “B” is written on her palm. Beyoncé’s “Halo,” from her 2008 album I Am… Sasha Fierce, then starts playing in the background. She bows her head two times and makes a “mind blown” gesture with her hand.
In the caption, Anne Hathaway said that Queen Bey just upgraded her status to Empress. See the short video clip below.
Beyoncé’s Lemonade is making its way to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. According to a forecast, via Billboard, Lemonade could sell more than 450,000 copies in its debut week alone. If the album goes straight to the No. 1 spot, Beyonce will be the only artist to have six studio albums debut at the top spot. On April 25, two days after its debut, Lemonade became available on other digital retailers such as Amazon and iTunes. The physical album will be available to purchase on May 6.
According to Hollywood Life, Lemonade isn’t only making waves in the U.S. The report says that Beyoncé’s latest album topped the iTunes charts in more than 25 countries including Australia, South Africa, United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Denmark, and others.
Aside from powerful song lyrics, Lemonade is also being praised for its beautiful visuals. Buzzfeed shared a few stills from Lemonade‘s accompanying film, and you can see them here.
